<br />SBBPC <br />OUTH END OARD OF ARK OMMISSIONERS <br />SM <br />PECIAL EETING <br />F8,2010 <br />EBRUARY <br /> <br />The Board of Park Commissioners of the Park District of the City of South Bend, Indiana met on <br />th <br />Monday the 8 of February 2010 at the O’Brien Administration & Recreation Center, 321 E. <br />Walter St., South Bend, Indiana for a special meeting. Notice of the date, time and place of the <br />meeting were duly given as required by law. <br /> <br />Park Board members present were as follows: <br />Mr. Robert Goodrich, Vice President <br />Dr. Thomas Kelly <br />Mr. Garrett Mullins <br /> <br />Park Board members absent were as follows: <br />Mr. Robert Henry, President <br /> <br />Staff members present: Bill Carleton, Fiscal Officer; Mike Dyszkiewicz, Maintenance <br />Superintendent; Phil Custard, City Purchasing Manager; Gregg Zienterra, City Controller; Cheryl <br />Greene, Park Board Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />I.The meeting was called to order by Board Vice President Robert Goodrich at 4:00 <br />p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />II.The next order of business was new business. <br /> <br />1. Arborist License Renewals- <br />The following license applications were presented for approval by the Board: <br />a. Custom & Moore <br />b. B and B Floral Adventures <br />c. Michiana Tree <br />d. The Cutting Edge <br />e. Underly Tree Service <br />f. Mark Temple Tree Service <br />g. Landmark/Solliday Landscaping <br />f. Watson’s Tree Service, Inc. <br />Mr. Mullins made a motion to accept the renewals of the Arborist Licenses and Dr. Kelly <br />seconded the motion. It was passed <br />2. Request to Approve the Scope of Work for Phase 1A of the Coveleski Stadium <br />Rehabilitation- Bill Schalliol <br />Mr. Schalliol presented the scope of work for phase 1A for Coveleski Stadium to the <br />Board. It would be paid through TIF funds. The work would be done through out the <br />season and would not interfere with play by the Silver Hawks.
