Slaughter <br />--------------- <br />President. + <br />Dr Basslar appeared with H. E. Goheen of Burke Plumbing Co.and <br />discussed the matter of tap that was not in proper looation`, when <br />sewer was put in. The Board called In inspectors John R*ese and L. <br />Lederer and they said they aks Dr. Bassler about location of tap at <br />the time they were putting in the sewer and he Sailed to give the m <br />anti definite location so they ordered tap in front of his property <br />Board said they saw no reason to take action against Pontarellie to <br />have him change the location of the tap. <br />Contract with L. H. Webster Co, <br />- fox Pipe Sewer on Williem Street <br />as provided in Improvement Resolution No. 1516. adopted June 17th., <br />1925 signed and Construction Bond attached thereto to in the sums of <br />Eight Hundred Sixty,. -four Dollars. -with the Hartford Accident and Ind <br />` eo. as Surities, approved Conttraot and bond ordred filed. <br />Contract with L. H. Webster for PYPs'Sewer on Diagonal Street, as p,. <br />provided in Improvement Resolution No. 1515. adopted June 17th., 192 <br />signed and construction Bond at.taohed thereto in the sum of $585 00 with Hartford Accident and Indemnity Co. as surety, approvedt Contrao <br />bond ordred filed. <br />The following Contracts were awardedt <br />Conerning the improvement of the roadway of Res* Street from Portage <br />to Kessler Btvd. also kessler Blvs. for south line of lot 22 Portage <br />heights addition to the north lien of north westerly corner of lot 3C <br />in Portage Heights Add, and the north easterly line of lot 5 in said <br />Addition. with asphalt, asphaltic oonerete, bitulithio, concrete, or <br />brick in pursuance to Resolution No. 1509 this Board finds that no <br />petition has been filed with said Board by a majority in number of th <br />free holders residing on said street to be improved, requesting that <br />it is imaprovemmied with a different kind of pavement than the kind <br />hereto fore adopted by the Board of Public Works in its Preliminary <br />ordret and the City Engineer reports that the Williston Bonst. Co. is <br />the lowest, and best bidder for the kind of pavement heretofore adopts, <br />by the Board, and the Board find that the williston Const. Co. is the <br />lowest and best bidder and hereby lets the contract for -said <br />improvement to them and ordres that said improvement be made with <br />Sheet Asphalt using Mexican Asphalt, and all proceedings heretofore <br />had in this metter are hereby confirmed and ratified, <br />_------�- Concerning the improvement of the roadway of Brookfield Street <br />-frame �v1�on �Street to New Jersey Indan & Illinois R. R. Co. with <br />• asphalt, asphaltic concrete bitulithic concrete or brick, in <br />pursuance to Resolution No. 1510. this Hoard findsa._t.hat_.na-4A44 -ion h <br />has been filed with said Board by a ate jority in number of the freehol <br />residing on said street to be improvedeirequesting that it be improve <br />with a different kind of pavement, than the kind heretofore adopted -by <br />the Board in its preliminary order; and the City Enginedr reporta.t.ha,. <br />the Williston Const.
