We Board met in special session at 9:00 A.I.I. All members present. The City Engineer submii.tod the list of property owners in the matter of the appropiatio.n of certain property under Condemnation Resolution No, 88 for the Opening of Colfax Avenue from Eddy Street,to Sunnyside Avenue, which I list incluides the names of the owners and holders of property and of intorw-sts therein sought to be taken or benefciaily or injuriously affected, and the des- eription of the several pieces of property which is affected by the said appro- priation proceedings, Thereupon the Board proceeded to award the damages sustained and to a,ssess'the benefits accruing to each piece of property upon said list, 3 It was thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconders and un-- animeusly adopted, resolved that said list, together with the amounts of benefits and damages and not benefits and not damages therein set forth as to the several parcels of l-and be adopted and ordered spread upon this record by reference, and that the respective amount of benefits contained in said list be and are hereby' assessed against the several tracts'of labd as specially sat forth in said list, and that the respective amounts of dq.mages entained in the said list be and are hereby awarded tethe several tracts of land as specifically set forth in said list, and that the net benefits or net damages; as the case may be as to the respective tracts of land contained in said list are hereby awarded or assessed as they case may be as to the said several tracts of land. The Board hereby further sets off the benefits and damages each against the other where both benefits and damages are assessed against the same piece of property, tract of land or interests, and hereby fixes said respective net benefits as the amount that shall be pain by the respective owners as benefitt and further hereby fixes the respective net damages as to the several tracts as h thef amount that shall be paid to the owners of -the respective tracts as damages Thereupon, upon motian duly made, and secaded and unanimously adopted, the �b day of 1925 was fixed as the day on which the this Board will receive or hear romdnstrances from persons with regard to the am amount of their respective awards or assessments, and the Clerk of this Board was instructed to prepare and cause to the duly and legally given, notices to the owners of each parcel Wf property, showing -the -amount of the assessment or award, with a description of the property affected, and the date of said hearing.- Aaditiona roll of X3MXdaxx list of property and persons holding mortgages against and land contracts to propert which has damages assessed on opening of Will.igm Street. { See files for roll Notice ordered served according to Law.
