All members present. <br />_ Inspector.of Lights madefollowingreports on petitions. <br />In re petition for light at Pleasant and 28th. Street. Light <br />not necessary. Petition denied. <br />In.re'petition for light on'Kaley Street, and Napier St. a 1000 <br />lumen Incandescent lamp radial reflector bracket construction recommended installed. <br />Report approved and light ordered. <br />In re petition for light at corner of Wilber St eel, and Longley <br />Avenue,. 1lght,rnot :necessary petition denied. <br />Petition signed by Jay C. Bowsher at al for the vacation of <br />ight fool, alley running between lots 13 and 14 in Dunbar's Sub. Div. of Bank Out Lots <br />31 and'32 extending from South line of Colfax Avenue the length of one lot to the <br />next alley filed and resolution ordered. ( Insert see files.) <br />Petition signed by Jacob Christianson et -al for red stop light <br />at soutn end of 23rd. Street. Filed and referred to Street Department to investigate <br />and advise,as to the necessity of a plank barricade., <br />'Request for a typerwiter in the office of the Detective Department <br />received and placed on file. Clerk instructed to request Underwood Company to put in <br />their proposition in writing by 9:00 A.M. Wednesday January 21st., 1925. Pveposition <br />submitted by the Royal Typewriter Company opened and read but no action taken. <br />Appraisers P. E. Bondurant, Frank J. Anderson and Ed Neddo <br />filed following report of damages to property taken for street openAngs and widening. <br />Damages to property taken in Opening of Dayton Street from <br />Carroll Street.to Robinson Street. ( Insert see files.) rlaced on file. <br />Damages onpeoperty taken for Opening of Webster Street from <br />Indiana Avenue to the St. Joseph South Band & Southern Railway. Approved with blue <br />print attached. ( Insert see files.) <br />Blue print submitted by the Roxanna Petroleum Corporation of <br />St. Louis Mo. marked C.-3842 -0 shoeing general lay -out of Service Station at Wayne <br />Lincoln Quay East and Columbia Street this City approved and carry out with curve <br />on 10foot radius as shown on blue print. 9 See files for print.) <br />C 1 <br />Excavation bond of Jamos B. Clinger as principal and The Aetna <br />Casualty & Surety Company as surety mapproved. ( See files for bond.) <br />i <br />Mr.E//&e,Weiis of the Wells Mfg. Company of 1701-1719 So. Main St. <br />appeared and verbally requested the vacation of the alley west of his factory on <br />account.of proposed expansion of factory. No action taken.
