578 <br />Board met in regular session at, 9:00.A.M. All members present. <br />Geo. McNabb appeared before the Board in re bill filed against <br />McHugh and Cole Company on River Park Trunk sever District No. 1, J. F. Cole <br />and Harrop Supt.-Of McHugh and Cole Company contractors on River Park Trunk sew& <br />sewer District Number l present. Claims settled with Geo. McNabb for $60,00 <br />and E1do Meyers for $30.00. Cit Controller H. A. Tohulka present is hereby <br />requested to release the sum of 490.00 from the amount held up on McHugh and <br />Cole Compa•nh0.00 <br />on above mentioned trunk sewer cahtract and pay 60.00 to Geo. <br />McNabb and to S Ido Meyers, balance of money held up. ' <br />City L lectrican Wm. Henry is hereby authorized to attend the <br />Convention at Louisville, Kentucky of the Western Association of .&leetricla <br />Engineers. Expenses to be paid by the City. <br />Tabulation of bids submitted on the Printing of the Annual <br />report for 1924 as follows. <br />500 copies 1000 copies <br />Peerless Press Co. $784.70 $951.70 <br />McClave Printing Co. 821.50 971.50 <br />Peterson Printing Co. 860.40 989.50 <br />Hibberd Printing Co. 874.85 971.50 <br />Contract awarded to Peerless Press at above mentioned price. <br />Communication received from Mayor Seebirt in re Annual Report, <br />Same filed. <br />Wm. F. Qualls reported on following petitions for lights: <br />pertition signed bye W'. P. Kelley -et al for light at intersec- <br />tion of alley running east and west and laying between Franklin Street and <br />William Street and South Street and Division Street. Recommended installing <br />of a 100 C. P. light. Report filed until such time as the demand for lights <br />on streets is supplied it is impossible to light alleys. Report and petition, <br />ordered filed. <br />In re petition signed by Oscar M. Starch et al for light on <br />Napoleon Blvd. in 400 block. Recommended that instead of light on Terra Cotta <br />post, that a 4000 lumen incandescent lamp pendent fixture, dust proof bowl <br />refractor, mast arm construction be installed at Lawrence and Napoleon Blvd. <br />Report approved and ordered filed. <br />In re request for light on Division Street between Chapin <br />Street and Scott Street. Recommended a 2500 lumem incandescent lamp with <br />pendent fixture dust proof bowl refractor on iron post, on Division Street; be- <br />tween Chapin Street and Scott Street on south side of street. Approved. <br />Acknowlddgement received from Indiana Bell Telephone Company <br />in re connecting two lines to terminals at Central Alarm Station on .&ast Wayne <br />Street, Filed. <br />Renewal certificate of Reliable Plbg and Heating Company <br />with the Aetna Casualty Company as sureties approved and ordered filed. <br />Excavation bond of Oswin Eulitz and Hartford Accident and <br />Indemnity Company as sureties approved and ordered filed. <br />Copy of letter sent by City Attorney to Samuel Feiwell file <br />Attorney for Mr. John Chums received and ordered placed on file. <br />Building Department Annual Report for the year ending Dec. 31 <br />1924 received and read. <br />
