~ARCCommittee <br />2010 South Bend Common Council <br />The March 8, 2010 meeting of the PARC Committee was called to order by its Chairperson, <br />Council Member Ann Puzzello at 3:15 p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting Room. <br />Persons in attendance included Council Members Dieter, Puzzello, Varner, Oliver J. Davis, <br />Rouse, Kirsits and White; PARC Committee citizen member Kyle Chamberlin, Mayor Stephen <br />J. Luecke, Rita Kopola, Don Inks, Dave Tungate, Jeff Parrott of the South Bend Tribune and <br />Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br />Council Member Puzzello noted that the Committee consists of Council Members Rouse, Oliver <br />J. Davis, Kirsits and herself, and that Kyle Chamberlin is a citizen member. <br />Bill No. 11-10 Proposed Appropriation of $10,200 for Marketing the Morris Performing <br />Arts Center: <br />Council Member Puzzello noted that she had received a communication dated March 2, 2010 <br />from Dennis J. Andres, Executive Director of the Morris Performing Arts Center (copy attached) <br />requesting that Bill No. 11-10 be continued until the March 22, 2010 Council meeting. <br />Vice-President Oliver Davis made a motion, seconded by Council Member Kirsits that Bill No. <br />11-10 be recommended to be continued until March 22°d at the request of the Petitioner. The <br />motion passed. <br />Miscellaneous Business: <br />Council Member Puzzello announced that "Communiversity Day" will be held on April 10~' <br />from 1-3 pm. She noted that students will be working at 4-5 city parks, the zoo, and the <br />conservatory. There will be a cook-out at the Robinson Center afterwards.
