W: Fites instructed to repair cuts made by public utilities on Lincoln Way East from Division Street to Washington Avenue temporarily and to fill in space with cinders where street, was widened., Mayor S,eebirt and City Attorney-L. W. Hammond present and City Attorney requested to make recommendations to the Board for a new system of keep- ing minutes and records in the office of the Board, permit granted to the Indiana Bell Telephone.Coopany to installed improvements as per blue prints submitted, and same approved subject•toIndiana Bell Tel.,Company conferring with the City Engineer, an the;work.being eonstrue4 ed under the supervision of the Engineering Department. ( Insert`.see files.) Indiana Bell Telephone Company ordered to move Pole #J. M. 373 to 3 feel, to the west of its present location from in front of , Chicago -Radiator Works. One-20O C. 0. Indeseant Light ordered placed on mast arm on Fremos Street at' the first`alley`north of Lincoln Way West. • Move 100 C. P..light now at La Porte Avenue and Blaine Avenue to Birner and Blaine Avenue and change to .20Q C. P. Light. No lAghtaleeessary at corner of Grant Street and Merry Avenue as, an aro light is one block north and one block west of.;this location. Red Globe ordered ob&ngdd at corner of Grant Street,and Linden Avenue to a wh1te globe and a 200 C. P. Light. Notice ordered given to the Indiana Bell Telephone Company and Indiana & Michigan Eleo. Co. to place all cable which is not used for distribatin to abutting property owners underground in City Hall Court immediately, • Complaint, read and placed on file about sewer contractor breaking sidewalk, actin on Rose Street and Kessler Blvd. Same placed on file. f Pettion filed by property owners on Sorin Street between Notre Same Avenue and -Eddy Street in City Filed Saturday October 25th.9 1924 referred to .the Engineering Department to be checked.:.. Spadoni for pipe sewer on Robinson Street from Lincoln Way East to 24 feett, north of ,Southwest ,corner of Lot 10 Robinson's 1st, AdditAon, 4ts provided in improvement Resolution No. 1430 adopted August 26th., 1924 signed and construction bond in,the sum of $495.00 attached hereto with the Standard Accident insurance Company as sureties approved. Contract and Mond ordered filed.. Contract with Rocco Simeri as contract for pipe sewer on McKinley Avenue from Sunnyside Avenue to East line of Sunnyside Manor Add. as provided in improvement Resolution No. 1441 adopted October 14th., 1924 signed and construction bond attached thereto in the sum of $2,641.00 with the Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York as sureties approved. Contract and bond ordered filed. A thirty day notice ordered sent to Jefferson Hotel Company to close stairway along side of hotel building on Jefferson Street. Eagineer signed assessment rolls and final estimates on the following improvements: - Grade, curb and walk on Brookfield Street from Prairie Avenue to Ewing Avenue under Improvement Resolution Ng 1412 Grade, curb and walk on Vernon`Street from Calvert Street to Ewing Avenue under Improvement Resolution No. 1351. Grade, curb and walk on Carroll Street from Ewing Avenue to Altgeldt Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 1267. Grading of Leer Street from Ewing Avenue to Victoria Street, under Improvement Resolution Mo. 1278, Grade, curb and walk on Fellows Street from Ewing Avenue to Altgeldt Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 1256. Grade, curb and walk on AdM ony Street from Washington Avenue to Division Street, under Improvement Resoluton No. 1312.
