CLAIMS REVIEW MEETING <br />MARCI~ l5, 2010 62 <br />A Claims Review Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 8:35 a.m. on <br />Monday, March 15, 2010, by Board Member Carl P. Littrell with Interim Board Member <br />Thomas Price present. Board President Gary A. Gilot and Board Member Donald E. Inks <br />were absent. <br />EXTEND DATE OF OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - COVELESKI STADIUM <br />RENOVATIONS -BACKSTOP NETTING REPLACEMENT PROJECT NO. 110- <br />008A, AND FIELD WALL REPLACEMENT - PROJECT NO. 110-008B <br />Mr. Littrell. advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed <br />Quotations far the above referenced projects. In a memo to the Board, Mr. Rob Nichols, <br />Engineering, requests the Board extend the opening date to March 18, 2010 to allow <br />seven (7) days turn-around of the request for quotes and the opening. Mr. Nichols noted <br />in his memo that an Addendum was sent out to all of the contractors who received <br />requests to quote, noting the extension of tune. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Littrell, seconded by Mr. Price and carried, the extension of the opening to March 18, <br />2010 of the above Quotations was approved. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Littrell stated that a request to pay claims has been received by the Board; each claim <br />is fully supported by an invoice; the person receiving the goods or services has approved <br />the claims; and the claims have been filed with the City Fiscal Officer and certified for <br />accuracy. <br />Mr. Littrell stated the following claims were submitted to the board fora proval: <br />Name Amount of Claim Date <br />City of South Bend $438,479.59 03/09/10 <br />City of South Bend $2,077,433.31 03f 15/10 . <br />St. Joseph County Housing Consortium $2,213.57 03/02f 10 <br />Therefore, Mr. Littrell made a motion that after review of the expenditures, the claims be <br />approved as submitted.
