IM <br />Thereupon the Board proceeded to award the damages sustained and to assess <br />the benefits accruing to each piece of property upon said list. <br />It was thereupon, upon motion duly made and wecanded and unanimously <br />adopted; resolved that said List, together with the amounts of berieffts and damages and <br />net benefits and net damages therein set forth as to the several parcels of land be <br />adopted and that the respective amount of benefits contained in said list be and are hereby <br />assessed against the several tracts of land as specifically set forth in said list, ,and <br />that the respective amoun'Us of damages container in the said list be and are herebjJJ <br />awrded to the several tracts of land as specifically get forth in said list, and that <br />net benefits or net damages, as the case maybe as to the respective tracts of land, <br />contained in said li-s)t are hereby awarded or assessed, as the case may be as to the said <br />several tracts of land. <br />The Board hereby further sets off the benefits and damages' each against <br />the other where both benefits and damages are assessed, against the same piece of property, <br />tract of land or interests, and hereby fixes the said respective net benefits as to the <br />amount that shall be paid by the respective owners as benefits, and further hereby fixes <br />the respective net damages as to the several tracts as the amount that shall be paid <br />to the owners of the respectivle, tracts as damages. <br />Thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimously adopted <br />the 30th. day of July 1924 at 7:15-�V.M. was fixed as the day on which this Board will <br />receive or hear Femonstrances from persons with regard to the amount of their respective <br />awards or assessments, and the Clerk of this Board was instructed to prepare and cause to b <br />duly and legally given,, notices to the owners of each parcels of property, showing the <br />amount of the assessments or awards, with a description of the property affected, and the <br />date of said hearing. o <br />Contract with Paul Lieder fnr grade, curb and walk on California <br />Avenue from College Street to the alley west of College Street as provided in Reso,ution <br />No. 1354 adopted April 16th., 1924 -signed and construction bond attached thereto in the <br />sum -of Ninety five (395.00) Dollars with the Inland Bonding Compimny as sureties, <br />approved, Contract and Mond ordered filed. <br />Contract with Paul Lieder for grade, curb and valk on California <br />Avenue from College Street to the alley west of Collage Street as provided in Improvement <br />Resolution No. 1354 adopted April 16th., 1924 signed and construction bond attached - <br />thereto in the sum of $95.00 with the Inland Bonding Company as sureties, approved. <br />Contract and bond ordered filed. <br />Contract with C. E. Reesh for pipe sewer on Kessler Blvd, from Rose <br />Street, to South line or.' Woodiawn Addition as provided in Improvement Resolution No. 1390 <br />adopted May 13th., 1924 signed and construction bond in the sum of $1,679.00 <br />with Aetna Casualty & Surety Co. of Hartford, Conn as sureties approved. Contract and <br />bond ordered filed. <br />Contract with E. T. Tranberg gor grade, curb and walk bh ]bj3!-_ the r . <br />A1tr6etf:F&9 Prairie Avenue to Ewing Avenue as provided in Improvement Resolution. No. 136l- <br />Adopted April 16th., 1924 signed and construction bond attached thereto in the sum of <br />11,012.00 with theContinental Casualty Company as sureties approved. Contract and bond <br />ordered filed. <br />Communication received from Hay -Weaver Company with letter attached <br />from General Abbestos & Supply Company in reference to Police and Fire Alarm Station <br />Roof. Same read and placed on file, ( See files.) <br />Thirty day notice ordered sent to Psaooff Lbr. Company at 416 W. <br />Wenger Street to construct now walk, also notice sent to Airs. James Belson and Paul <br />Kuehn. <br />Claims as evidenced by vouchers numbers 727 to 826 Inclusive„ <br />allowed. <br />Attest: - <br />Clerk of the Board. <br />Pres dent. __._ <br />
