<br />subject to all ordIiances bf the City of South Bend as "to the speed of trains, and the
<br />s®curity of citizens and others from the operation of 'rains, and to all reasonable.rules
<br />and regulations concerning the operatin of said railroad in said City.
<br />(5).0 The rights and privilege ,to egnstruol� and ;maintain said industrial
<br />sidetracks shall include such turnouts, ,crossovers, and connections as shallbe indidental
<br />thereto. '
<br />(6)• To each of the foregoing terms, conditions and stiputaltions, the
<br />City of South Bend; -by its Board of Public Works, and the Grand Trunk Western Railway
<br />Company, do fully agree and bind themselves$ their successors and assigns,
<br />(7). The permission confirmed in this resolution shall be subject
<br />to the approval and cosndieration of the Common Council of the City of, South Bend,
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works, that the 18th.

<br />proceed with the pavement contract. Wm. Qualls Inspector of Poles and Wire for City
<br />also -present and stated Postal Telegraph Company had not removed their poles or constructed
<br />underground conduit.
<br />The following notice sent to the Postal' Telegraph Company by Wm.
<br />Qualls.
<br />You will please remove poles from,City Hall Court where same is
<br />preventing .Contractor from paving. If not removed inside of°two weeks same will be removed
<br />at your- expenseat the expiration of that time',APPROVED .
