<br />Engineer filed the list of property owners in the matter of the
<br />app opri`at'ion of- certain property under Condemnation Resolution No, -79 for the
<br />WidentAg of Oakside Street from .Miami Street- to East line, of, Lot '257 and ' east
<br />line of said lot extended south, under Condemnation ResolutInn No. 79.. Which
<br />list includes the names of the owners and holder6 of property and its interests
<br />therein sought -to be Rtaken -or benefldislly or in jurioi`sly affected, end the "
<br />description of the several pieces of property which is affected by the said
<br />appropriation proceedings. 4
<br />Thereupon the Board proceeded to ;award the damages sustained and to
<br />assess the benefits accrifng 'to each piece of property upon 'said list.
<br />-I•t, ,vas therou-pon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unaneimusly
<br />adopted, resolved that said list, together with the amounts of bdn*fits and
<br />damages and net benefits and net damages therein set forth as to the several
<br />parcels of land be adopted and that the respec►ive..smount of benefits con-
<br />tained in said list be and are hereby assessed against the several tracts of
<br />-land Ws specifically sct forth in' said list. -and -that the respective amount of
<br />damages contained in the.,said list be and'are:hereby awarded to the several.`
<br />tracts of land as' specifically 'set forth in "said listm and tha% nit benefits
<br />or net damages, as the ease may be as to the respective tracts of land, con-,
<br />twined in said list are hereby awarded or assessed, as the case may be as to the
<br />said several -tracts of land.
<br />The Board hereby further sets off the benefits and damages each against
<br />the other where both benefits and damages are assessed, against the same piece
<br />of property, tract ff land or interests,and hereby fixes the said respective
<br />net benefits As the amount that shall be paid by the respective owners as bent -
<br />fits . and, further hereby fixes the respective not damages as to the several
<br />tracts as the amount that shall be paid to the owners of the respective tracts
<br />as damages.
<br />Thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimously adopted
<br />the 2nd. •day 'of July 1924 at 7:15 ,P.M. was fixed as the day on which this Beard
<br />will receive or hear remonstranoes from persons with regard to the amount of
<br />their respective awards or assessments, and the Clerk of this Board was in-
<br />structed to prepare and cause to be duly and legally given, notices --to the,-
<br />owners: of'each-parcel of property, showing the amount -of the assessments or,,
<br />awards, with a description of the property affected and the date of said
<br />hearing.
<br />Remonstrance filed against the paving of the-alle,y•running north and
<br />south between Park Avenue and Forest Avenue in Chapin Park._
<br />An order was given the Austin -Western Ro d Machinery Company for one
<br />five (5� ton Austin Four (4) cylinder Tandem Roller equipt with water
<br />spray F. 0. B. South Bend, Indiana. Price is net and allowance is made for
<br />old City Steam Roller.. Price .$21,650.`00. F. 0. J3. South Bend, Indiana.
