24t <br />from the City, and payment therefor shall be at the rate provided <br />for in this contract, commenc ing on the day on which the lamps are <br />put in service, provided that one additional four thousand (4000), <br />six thousand (6000), or ten thousand (10000) Lumen incandescent <br />lamp shall be installed for each extension of seven hundred (700) <br />feet, and that one additional twenty-five hundred (2500) Lumen <br />incandescent lamp shall be installed for each extension of four <br />hundred (400) feet, and that one additional one thousand (1000) <br />Zen incandescent lamp shall be installed for each extension of <br />hundred fifty (250) feet, all such extensions being from the <br />;n existing suitable overhead system or overhead circuit of the <br />ontractor. <br />. Additional street lighting units referred to in para- <br />raph 1-(B)-I shall be added from time to time on written notice <br />rom the city, and payment therefor shall be at the rate provided <br />or -in this contract commencing on the day on which the lamps are <br />ut in service, provided, that one additional six thousand (6000) <br />r ten thousand (10000) Lumen incandescent lamp shall be installed <br />or each extension of three hundred (300) feet and that one <br />dditional four thousand (4000) Lumen incandescent lamp shall be <br />netalled for each extension of two hundred fifty (250) feet, and <br />hat one additional two thousand five hundred (2500) Lumen incan- <br />scent lamp shall be installed for each extension of one hundred <br />fty (150) feet, all such extensions being from the then existing <br />itable underground system or overhead circuit of the Contractor. <br />Whenever such additional lamps are so ordered, the <br />ininum number of such lamps to be furnished throughout the remain- <br />er of the contract shall be increased accordingly. Temporary <br />amps, if ordered, are to be furnished under special arrangement. <br />6. If any lamp is "out" during; the hours in which it <br />hould be lighted, the City may deduct from the total monthly <br />mount which would have been paid had no "outage" occurred, a sum <br />earing the ratio to the total as the outage bears to the total <br />ime the lamps should have been lighted in any month. <br />- 5- <br />
