Airport Economic Development Area <br /> <br />(3) continued… <br /> <br />Impact you/re great and highly recommended <br />to all who are challenged and are trying to <br />overcome! <br /> <br />CA <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by <br />OMMISSION APPROVED THE GREEMENT FOR <br />SPI$350,000 <br />ERVICES WITH ROJECT MPACT AT <br />Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the <br />WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THE <br />Commission approved the Agreement for <br />CONTRACT WILL BE AMENDED TO ENSURE THAT <br />Services with Project Impact at $350,000 <br />$150,000 <br /> OF THAT WILL BE FOR DIRECT SUPPORT <br />with the understanding that the contract will <br />PI <br />OF THE INDIVIDUALS THE ROJECT MPACT IS <br /> <br />be amended to ensure that $150,000 of that <br />SERVING <br />will be for direct support of the individuals <br />the Project Impact is serving. <br /> <br /> <br />(4) Application to Indiana Brownfields <br />Program for a Comfort Letter for <br />property being acquired at 604 S. Scott <br />Street (former Millenium Environmental <br />property) <br /> <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that on or about March 8 <br />the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />will be acquiring title to the former <br />Millennium Environmental property at 604 <br />S. Scott Street. This is a property that went <br />through previous tax sales and was not <br />redeemed. The St. Joseph County <br />Commissioners now have a tax certificate on <br />the property and will be deeding the property <br />to the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission either next week or shortly <br />thereafter. <br /> <br />The property has had a number of <br />environmental problems on it and the Indiana <br />Department of Environmental Management <br />(IDEM) has conducted much of the required <br /> 72 <br /> <br />
