South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Regular Meeting –March 5, 2010

6. NEW BUSINESS

D. Airport Economic Development Area

(3) continued…

I salute you and thank you.

Gene Massie: I came to Project Impact with
a bad feeling in my soul. I didn't care about
my self much else others. For the last 10
weeks I listened and learned a lot. It takes a
good man like Pastor Blake and Mrs. Perl to
show love and caring to others and not ask
for anything in return. Every morning Shane
reads from the bible. I feel like he is talking
right at me. The message he reads hits home
on me everyday.
This program has changed me and every
other person here. I hope and pray that others
will have a chance in their life. This program
has opened my hearts and my eyes to the
love of God and all his people. I look at how
fare Shane and Terrance have come with
their life with Gods leading the way.
Yasmeen Is a young women with a good
soul. She has a kind word every day when I
come in. But don't get on her bad side.
Though love is hard to take. All the staff for
Project Impact has their hearts in the right
place.

Thank you for your time.

Clyde McCoy Jr : I've made a lot of mistakes
in my life, I've blown a lot of chances,
burned a lot of bridges. I thank God for
Project Impact; they have given me a new
outlook on my life. I now know why I think
like I do, somehow knowing why, you do the
things you do. Project Impact gives options
and with that I can make better decisions.
69
