South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Regular Meeting –March 5, 2010

6. NEW BUSINESS

D. Airport Economic Development Area

(3) continued…

us you talk about fiduciary. I haven’t heard
you talk about fiduciary responsibility for
anything else in here. But you’re talking
about it when you’re talking to us. I’m
telling it like it is. I’m going to tell it like it
is, because that’s the way it is. I’ve been
quiet, and I try to be as patient and as quiet
and as understanding and as caring and as
compassionate as I can be. But I’m kind of
tired of it, too.

I’m tired of this game of playing by the rules
when it’s in my favor. When it’s not, the
rules don’t matter much. Dave, I’ve sat here.
When I was on the board. I’ve seen you fight
for a cause when there was money for the
police department, when you want the police
department, you want the fire department,
you want other people to get things, you tried
your best to take and twist and get money out
of this pool and that pool in order to meet
your cause. But now, all you can see is,
“You’re not going to have enough next year.
We’re only going to have this amount of
money.” You can put some more money
into this pot if you wanted to. There could
be.

Ms. Jones: I don’t think we can…

Mr. Blake: You say you can’t. All right.
What does Timothy…read Timothy Rouse’s
letter. Let’s see what he says.

Ms. Jones: We have several things to read
into the record.
48
