L. B. S1Augh-ter, President, <br />absent. L. P. Hardy, Vice President, Acting President. <br />This being date set for deferred hearing on Resolution No. 4 for Grade. <br />Se airation of New York Central Railroad, Attruey Buczkswski aPpeared and presented <br />petition -for property owners requesting change in Resolution. No o ,6her interested <br />parties were present. Hearing continued until Wednesday, AP-RIL 9.L IL924 at 9:00 A.M. <br />Attest: <br />Clerk of Board Acting President - <br />Wednesday, April 2, 19241 7:15 P. M. <br />Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M: L. B. SLAUGHTER, President, <br />Absent. L. P. HARPDy, Vice President, Acting President. <br />Petitition filed and approved for sewer and pavement an Robertson Street <br />from Lincoln Way East to New York Central tracks, property owners appearing and re- <br />questing both improvements. <br />Hearing had an Improvement Resolution No. 1327 for Pipe Sewer on Poland <br />Street from Meade Street to Olive Street in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance <br />was filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits <br />to property liable to be assessed for said improvementare equal to the estimated <br />cost ofthe same, as reported by the Mity Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final <br />action on said resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby in all things <br />ratified, cafifirmed and approved. <br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 30th day of April, <br />1924 and on the 7th"; day o f '1�tsy'r,, 1924 in the Sough Bend News Times and South b� ;,.d <br />Tribune in said Civyl stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction <br />d7f said improvement up to 10:00.A.M. on the 20th day of May, 1924. THE Board reserves <br />the right iyo reject any and all bids. . <br />/Mxr. Walter Fassnaaht appeared in regard to having alleywest of Miami <br />STreet between Broadway and Pennsylvania Avenue vacated. No action ctionwas taken , <br />Hearing had on Resolution No. 1324 _ oR Sewer on Broadway from the manhole <br />at East end of tho Broadway sewer to the first iihey west of Miami Street. Irwin <br />-Jackson appeared 4nd remonstrated against sewer for the reasen he wioufi not be ben- <br />efitted because of being unable to build on back of lots. Hearing deferred until <br />Wednesday, April 9, 1924 At 7:15 P.M. <br />Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 1325 for Pipe Sewer an <br />Koscuiszko Street from the south line of Indiana Avenue to the alley north of Prairie <br />Avenue in the City of.
