MENTORING PROGRAM:
Each of the student employees are mentored in 2 significant ways:
1. Greater Impact Soft Skills Training - The class takes place every Monday before work
from 8:OOAM-9:30AM. See Training on page 9.
2. On-the-job mentoring - Our supervisors are highly trained to act as mentor coaches by
focusing on 4 main areas:
a. Attitude - Remain positive and don't complain.
b. EffortlWork Ethic - Work hard and be proactive in staying on task.
c. Quality - Provide quality work as a result of focus and attention to detail.
d. Timeliness - show up on time to work and work in a timely manner on-the-job.
We talk about these 4 areas during ever shift as we desire to keep things simple for the
students while also recognizing that these 4 objectives are crucial to the students
becoming positive future employees in our community some day,
Student Testimonial: "Greater Impact has provided me with my first job. It has taught me how
to work hard and always have a great attitude. They are helping me learn how to manage my
money and holding me accountable to being abetter person. The supervisors seem to really
care about me and teach me to do hard things even when 1 don't feel like it." -Caleb Darden
1.1
