Webster at ..... $4,455.10 The following communication received from the Board of Perk Commissioners read and placed on filet and approved by the Board. South Bend, Indiana. February 16,1924. Board of Public Works, South Bend, Ind., Gentlemen:- At the regular meeting 'of 'the Board of Park Commissioners on.February the 15th. , it was decided tbay this Board to discontinue the use of the -center of William Street, from Washington to Colfax , as a park center. Wo this letter the Board of Park Commissioners tur n over all the - rights they may have claimed to the said street center to the Board of Public Works. It is the opinion of this Board that traffic conditions on William Street will be greatly improved by the removal of this park center, and it is their wish that it be removed at your early convenience.
