Wednesday evening, January 25th. , 1928. <br />Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. Y. All members present. <br />This being the date set, continued hearing was had on'the assess <br />ment roll for the opening of Palmer Blvd., under Condemnation Resolution No.I9I5..Upon <br />the request of interested persons, the Board decides to continue hearing on same until <br />February 22nd. , I928 at 7-I5 P. TV% <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following <br />assessment rolls: <br />Assessment roll for the sewer on Donald Street from the alley <br />east of Leer Street to Sampson Street under Improvement Resolution No41798. <br />Assessment roll for the Randolph -Hoke Local sewer system under <br />Improvement Resolution No.I773. <br />In both of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators <br />appeared and no written remonstrance was filed, and the Board, being fully advised <br />in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed <br />'for said improvements have been benefited in the amounts named on said rolls. The <br />Board, thereforet: takes final action on said primary assessment rolls No.I798 and <br />I773, and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proce <br />ings closed. The Board now.orders said assessment rolls delivered to the Department <br />of Finance. <br />. This being the date set, hearings were had on the following <br />improvement resolutions: <br />Improvement resolution No.I98I for the pavement improvement in <br />Morris Park., as petitioned for by more than 55cilo" of the ovmers of lots in said Additi <br />Improvement Res oluti on No.I982 for the sewer improvement in <br />Lincoln 11anor and 'Ka;ley's Lincoln Highway Addition, as petitioned for by more than 55 <br />%of the owners of lots in said Addition. <br />Improvement Resolution No.I976 for the sewer improvement in <br />C. IZ. Smith's Second Addition, as petitioned for by more than 55% of the o.;mers of <br />lots in said Addition'. <br />In all of the above named improvement resolutions, no remonstra <br />ors appeared and no written remonstrance was filed, and the Board, being fully advise <br />in the premises, finds that the Venefits to the several lots and parcels of land liab <br />to be assessed for said improvements will be equal to the estimated costs of said <br />improvements, as reported by the City Civil Engineer. The Board, therefore, takes <br />final action on said Improvement Resolutions No.I98I, I982 and I976, and declares saw <br />in all things n-tified, confirmed and approved without modification. <br />City Engineer, Ix. H. G. 'vVray, filed primary assessment roll <br />for the construction of vialk on Sample Street, where necessary between -lalnut Street. <br />and Chapin Street under Improvement Resolution No.I938. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders tha <br />on the 3Ist. , day of January 1928, this Board will meet in their office in the City <br />Ull at I0:00 A. bi., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose propert <br />has been assessed for said improvement and will decide ahether the several lots and <br />parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the <br />amounts named on said primary assessment roll. The Board further orders that notices <br />of said hearing shall be published on the 27th. , day of January and on the 28th. , day <br />of January I928 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. <br />The Board approved the renewal bond of Vlilliam Henry Bollinger <br />in the amount of ¢I,000.00 for excavation bond signed by The Fidelity and Casualty <br />Company of New York. <br />Yeeting adjounned at 9 P.
