All members present. <br />Minutes of meetings held November 29th., and 30th., 1927, read and <br />approved. <br />The Board signed the contract with Rocco -Simeri for the constructic <br />of a- sever in the alley sout of Campau Street from Frances Street to center line of <br />Lot 5 Turnock and Ha,rtman's b. , under Improvement Resolution No.I96I. The Board_ alsc <br />approved the construction bond of same in the.amount of499.30, which is I00 of the <br />i <br />contract price signed by the Columbia Casualty Co. <br />The Board signed the contract with W. H. Plumbeck for t-�e grading <br />of the first alley south of Calvert Street from Chapin Street to Kendall Street under <br />Improvement Resolution No.1966. The amount of the contract being $90.00. <br />The Board approved the Guarantee ,Bond. of the Albert Construction <br />Co., for the pavement on Kaley Itreet from Division ''treet to Sample Streetunder Impro- <br />vement Resolution No. I922. The bond for 3,669.00 signed by Inland Bonding o. , was <br />for IO o of the construction cost. <br />The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the Albert Construction Cc <br />I for the pavement on Harris Street between Division 6treet and ford Street unde, Improve <br />ment Resolution No.I927. The bond for $I,301.I4 signed by the inland Bonding ompany <br />wa s for I0% of the construction cost of said improvement. <br />Claims amounting to :980.26 approved and. signed by the .Board. <br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Wray, filed primary assessment roll for <br />{ the pavement on Kenwood Avenue from Olive Street to Bendix Drive under Improvement <br />Resolution No.I989. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that <br />on the I4th. , day of December, I927, this Board will meet in their office in the City <br />j Hall at 7-I5 P. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property <br />has been assessed for said improvement and gill decide whether the several lots and <br />parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement have been or will be benefited <br />in the amounts named on said assessment roll or in a greater or less amount than that - <br />shown on said assessment roll. The Board further orders that notices of said hearing <br />shall be published in the South Bend News limes and Tribune on the 9th., day of Decembe <br />and on the IOth., day of December, I927, according to law. <br />Meeting adjourned at II-30 A.
