H. & L. R. R. under Improvement Resolution No.I908. <br />In all of the above named assessment rolls, the Board hereby orders <br />that on the 23rd., day of November, I927, this Board willmeet in the office. of the Board <br />at 7-15 P. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has <br />been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the several lots and parcels <br />of land primarily assessed for sal.d improvements have been or will be benefited in the <br />amounts shown on said assessment rolls or in a great or less sum that that named on <br />said rolls. The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published <br />on the I8th. , day of November and on the I9th. , day of November, I927, in the South <br />Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. <br />Meeting adjourned at 9 P. All members present. <br />approvedMinutes of meetings held November I5th., and I6th., 1927, read and <br />. <br />rolls: <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following assessmen <br />Assessment roll for the pavement of Division Street from Parry Street <br />to Eddy Street under Improvement Resolution No.I9I3. <br />Assessment roll for the pavement of Parry street from Division Street <br />to the fifth alley south of Division 6treet under Improvement Resolution No.I897. <br />In both of the above named assessment rolls, remonstrators appeared b t <br />no written remonstrance was filed. The Board, being fully advised in the premises, find <br />that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvements, have <br />been benefited in the amounts shown on said assessment rolls. The Board, therefore; tak s <br />final action on said assessment rolls and declares same in all things ratified, confirmel <br />and approved and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls <br />delivered to the Department 'of Finanee. 11, <br />The Board signed the contract with the Williston Construction Co., <br />h for the pavement of McKinley Avenue from -the east line of Greenlawn Avenue to the west <br />ji line of Twenty -Second Street under Improvement Resolution No.I923. The amount of the <br />contract being $23,359.95 and the construction bond for 50% of the contract price was <br />signed .by Inland Bonding Co., and approved by the Board. <br />I i <br />I� Upon the recommendation of Vim. F. Qualls, the Board approved the �I <br />installation of a 40OPlumen light at the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Harriett Stree# <br />at a cost of $45.00 per year. Same ordered. <br />I <br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. ,tray, submitted partial estimate No.I for <br />the grade, curb and walk improvement on Brookfield Street from Hamilton Street to Wilson <br />j Street, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and J. A. Barnes <br />under Improvement Resolution No.I9I6. Board approved and si-,ned same in the amount of <br />$8, 037. 63. <br />The Board approved acontractors bond of "�I,000.00 in'favor of Hay - <br />Weaver Co., signed by American surety Co. <br />The Board approved the following Guarantee Bonds: <br />Guarantee Bond of Albert Construction Co., for the pavement on Washi <br />ton Avenue from Y ade Street to Xaley Street under Improvement Resolution No.I892. n <br />�i <br />j Guarantee Bond -of Albert Construction Co., for the pavement <br />i <br />
