H. & L. R. R. under Improvement Resolution No.I908. <br />In all of the above named assessment rolls the Board hereby orders <br />: y <br />that on the 23rd. , day of November, 1927, this Board willmeet in the office. of the Board <br />at 7-I5 P. MO, to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has <br />been assessed for sadd improvements and will decide whether the several lots and parcel,- <br />! of land primarily as for said improvements have been or will be benefited in the <br />i <br />amounts shown on said assessment rolls or in a great or less sum that that named on <br />said rolls. The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published <br />! on the I8th. , day of November and on the I9th. , day of November, I927, in the South <br />Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. <br />Meeting adjourned at 9 P. All members present. <br />Minutes of meetings held November I5th., and I6th., 1927, read and <br />approved. <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following assessm_ en <br />rolls: <br />Assessment roll for the pavement of Division Street from Parry Street <br />to Eddy Street under Improvement Resolution No.I9I3. <br />Assessment roll for the pavement of Parry Street from Division Street <br />to the fifth alley south of Division Street under Improvement Resolution No.I897. <br />In both of the above named assessment.rolls, remonstrators appeared b <br />no written remonstrance was filed. The Board, being fully advised in the premises, find <br />that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvements, have <br />been benefited in the amounts shown on said assessment rolls. The Board, thereforei tak <br />final action on said assessment rolls and declares same in all things ratified, confirme <br />and approved and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls <br />delivered to the Department'of Finanee. <br />The Board signed the contract with the Williston Construction Co., <br />for the pavement of McKinley Avenue from -the east line of Greenlawn Avenue to the west <br />I line of Twenty -Second Street Zander Improvement Resolution No.I923. The amount of the <br />contract being $23,359.95 and the construction bond for 50% of the contract price was <br />1 signed by Inland Bonding I-0. , and approved by the Board. <br />Upon the recommendation of Vim. F. Qualls, the Board approved the <br />installation of a 400Qlumen light at the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Harriett Stre <br />at a cost of $45.00 per year.. Same ordered. <br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. gray, submitted partial estimate No.I for <br />' the grade, curb and walk improvement on Brookfield Street from Hamilton Street to Wilson <br />Street, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and J. A. Barnes <br />under Improvement Resolution No.I9I6. Board approved and si _-;ned same in the amount of <br />$8,037.63. <br />The Board approved acontractors bond of 'I,000.00 in'favor of Hay - <br />Weaver Co., signed by American surety Co. <br />The Board approved the following Guarantee Bonds: <br />• Guarantee Bond of Albert Construction Co., for the pavement on Washin <br />ton Avenue from IJ ade Street to Kaley Street under Improvement Resolution No.I892. <br />Guarantee Bond -of Albert Construction Co. for the pavement �4 <br />t <br />s <br />
