N) Wednesday, November 2nd., 1927. i i to hear and receive remonstrances`' om all persons whose property has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land 11 primarily assessed for said improvements have been or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said rolls or in a greater or less sum than. that shown on said y primary assessment roll. The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the 4th. , day of November and on the. 5th. , day of November, I927, in the South Bend Tribune and News Times, according to law. This being the date set, bids were received, opened and read for the! construction of a sewer on College Street frim Elwood Street to Keller Street under Improvement Resolution No.I954. Company for the local sewer on Fairview Avenue from Marine street to Twyckenham Drive under Improvement Resolution No.I90I. Bond for IO of the construction cost amounting j, to 260.84 signed by the New York Indemnity Co., approved and signed. it The Board approved the Guarantee bond of tlezt Bukowski for the pave - ment of the alley between Maple Street and 71alnut Street from Division street to Napier Street under Improvement Resolution No.I857. Bond for I017. of the construction cost amounting to I3I.55 signed by the United States Filelity & Guaratty Co., approved i and signed. The Board approved the Contractors Bond of I,000.00 in favor of Fred Corporan signed by the Employers Liability Assurance Co. The Board approved the renewal certificate in favor of Albert Edgell !j for $I,000.00. This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for. the pavement improvement on Oakside Street from the west line of Fellows Street to Miami 6treet under Improvement Resolution No.I836. i In the above named assessment roll, Yartha Iwan, property owner I� was present and remonstrated against the assessment on her property but no written remonstrance was filed. After hearing all persons interested in said assessment roll and being fully advised in the premises, the Board finds that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement, have been benefited in the amounts named on said assessment. The Board, therefore, takes final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and
