Tuesday, September 27th, 1927 City Engineer, Mr. H. G. gray, filed plans, specifications and estimate and the Board adopted a resolution for the pavement of the alley west of Yaple Street from Napier Street to alley north of Jefferson Street Under Improvement Resolution, No.I959. In both of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby orders that on.the 2n.d., day November, I9279 this Board will meet in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property is liable to be assessed for said improvements and. will decide whether the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvements will equal the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the I4th., day of October and on the 2lst.,. day of October, 1927in the South Bend News Times and Tribune. The Board approved the driveway for filling Station owned and operated by T. E. Cass Oil Co., at corner of Walnut and Sample Street.. This being the date set, continued hearing was had on the assessment roll for -the Condemnation (Easement) for the Northwest Trunk Sewer Under Condemnation Resolution Noo1769. In the above named assessment roll, the Board being fully advised a in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land which are shown j on said assessment roll, have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said primary assessment roll_in all things ratified, confirmed . The Board, therefore, takes final action on said assessment roll and declares same and approved and the proceed ings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
