<br />Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. M. All members present.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following assessment
<br />rolls:
<br />Assessment roll for the pavement of Hosse Court from Chapin Street to
<br />Scott Street under Improvement Resolution No.18II, amount due contractor, 2,283.30,
<br />Assessment roll for the pavement of Ford Street from Olive Street to
<br />ley Street under Improvement Resolution No.I707, amount due contractor 13,516.48.
<br />Assessment roll for the pavement of C talpa Avenue from Calvert Street
<br />to Ewing Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.I691, amount. due contractor I3,,6I2.94.
<br />Assessment roll for the construction of sewer along Rose, Roosevelt,
<br />Beale and Bra= Streets under Improvement resolution No.I782, amount due contractor
<br />35,32988.
<br />In all of . the above named assessment rolls, nheremonstrators appeared
<br />and no written remonstrance was filed, and the Board being fully advised in the premises
<br />finds that the benefits to' the several -lots and parcels of land are equal to the amounts
<br />named on said rolls. The Board therefore, decides to sustain all former action taken
<br />on said assessment roils and declares said assessment rolls, filed July 27th., I927,
<br />in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. The Board now orders said assessment
<br />rolls_ delivered to the Department . of Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the
<br />pavement improvement on Division -Street from the west line of Olive Street to the East
<br />line of Chicago Street under Improvement Resolution No.I722.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, remonstrators appeared but no written
<br />remonstrance was filed, and the Board being fully advised in. the premises, finds that
<br />the several lots and parcels of 1pand which have been assessed for said improvement, have
<br />been benefited in the amounts named on said roll and therefore, the Board takes final
<br />action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and
<br />approved. The Board now orders said_ assessment roll delivered to the Department of
<br />Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Condemnation Resolution No
<br />I903 for the widening of McKinley Street to an 80' street.
<br />In the above named condemnation resolution, no remonstrators appeared
<br />and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises,
<br />takes final action on said condemnation resolution No.I903 and declares same in all
<br />things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed:
<br />The Board now order that a list or roll be prepared of all owners or
<br />holders.of property or of valuable interests therein sought to be taken, which list
<br />oV rol shall also describe the �ropert beneficially affected by said condemnation. The
<br />ard ereby appoints .Edward Pfeiffer, yDavid Gibson and Ralph Osborn as appraisors and
<br />Clerk instructed to notify them of said appointment.
<br />The Board signed the contract with the Albert Construction Co., for the
<br />pavement of Frances Street from Sorin Street to South Bend Avenue under Improvement
<br />resolution No.1864. Board also approvdd the construction bond for same in the amount
<br />of 7,804,40 which is 50% of the contract price, signed by Inland Bonding Co.
<br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Wray, filed the following assessment rolls:
<br />Assessment roll for the pavement or resurfacing of Tecumseh Street
<br />from the north curb line of ilakewa to the south curb line of Parkovash Avenue under
<br />improvement resolution No.I84I. Amount due contractor 8,I06.44.
<br />Assessment roll for the resurfacing of Wakewa Avenue from Michigean to
<br />west property line of Tecumseh Avenue projected South under Improvement resolution No
<br />I842. Amount due contractor 1.198.70.
<br />In both of the above named assessment rolls, the Board orders that on
<br />the 24th., day of August, I927, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hail
<br />at 7-I5 P. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
<br />has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots .and
<br />parcels of land which have been assessed for said improvement -have been benefited in
<br />the amounts shown on said roll or in a greater or less amount. Board further orders
<br />that notices of said hearings shall be published on the ,
<br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Wray , filed the primary assessment rolls for the
<br />ewer improvement on Woodside Street from Twyckenham Drive to E. line of Lots 176 and
<br />77 Ridgedale Fourth Addition Under Improvement Resolution No.I838; ALSO for the
<br />avement improvement on Dale and Woodside Streets from Donmoyer .Avenue to Oakside Street
<br />nd from west line of lot 294 to east line lot 289 Chas. Weidler's Second Addition
<br />ader Improvement:Resolution No.I8I7.
<br />In both of the above named assessment rolls, -the Board hereby orders
<br />that on the 24th., day of August,_I927,.this Board will meet in the City Hall at 7-I5
<br />P. R. , to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been
<br />
