Hinkle absent. <br />Minutes of meeting Tuesday July I2th. , 1927, read and approve <br />This being the date set, the Board, hereby, takes final action of the <br />matter of the pavement of Oakside Street from the west line of Fellows Street to <br />j036 l Petition homing been filed <br />jlllfl�mi atreQt under Improvement Resolution 1�1o#, t33 <br />for the changing of the type of pavement other �han tLl speei�i2C� iYI �k8 <br />order, the Board this I9th., day of July, I927, he-=eby makes a final order for sheet <br />asphalt as the type of the pavement with which said street shall be improved and <br />awards the contract for said improvement to the Iffillitton Construction Co., et their <br />low bid of $35,398.45, their bid dieing -the lowest and best bid for sheet asphalt <br />pavements bight Traffic. <br />This being the date set, the Board h reby takes final action on the <br />matter of the pavement of !Woodside street from Pellovrs Street to a point I20 feet west <br />of the west line of Dale Avenue under Improvement Resolution Yo.I8I6. Petition having <br />been filed for the changing of the type of pavement from concrete, the type specified <br />in the preliminary order, to sheet asphalt, the type petitioned for by the ma jarity <br />of resident free holders, the Board this I9th., day of July, 1927, hereby makes a Tina <br />order for sheet asphalt as the type of pavement with which said street shall be ijaprov <br />ed and awards the contract for said improvement to the Williston Construction Co., at <br />their low bid of $27,899.69, their bid being the lowest and best bid for sheet asphalt <br />pavements Light Traffic. <br />This being the date set and no petitions having been filed for a change <br />of the type of pavement other than that specified in the =eliminary order for the I� <br />pavement of Altgeld Street from west line of High street to 111ami street under Impro- <br />vement Resolution Ho.I843, the Board this I9th., day of July, 1927, hereby makes a 1 <br />final order for sheet asphalt pavement as the type of pavement with which said street <br />shall be improved and awards the contract for said improvement to the Reath Riley <br />Construction Co., at their low bid of 12,833.50. <br />The Board signed the contract with the ffilliston Construction Co., for <br />the pavement of i�oodside Street from Fellows =street to a point I20 feet west of the <br />west line of Dale street under Improvement Resolution No.I8I6. Amount of contract <br />being '27,899.69. Board also approved the construction bond for same in the amohn <br />of "13,949.85, this being 50% of the contract price, signed by the Inland Bonding o. <br />The Board signed the contract with the 77illiston Construction Co., for t <br />pavement of Oakside Street from the -west -line .of Fellows Street to Miami street under <br />improvement Resolution No.I836. Amount of contract being �35,398.45. Board also <br />approved the construction bond for same in the amount of ,I7,699.23, this being 507 <br />of the contract price, signed by the Inland Bonding Co. <br />The Board signed the contract iri th ahi tcomb & Heller Co. , for the constr C <br />ion of grade, curb and walk on fain street from Vloodside Street to Dean Avenue under <br />Improvement Re. oluticm No:I847. Amount of contract being :�7,I78.50. The Board also <br />approved the construction bond for same in the amount of 7, I78.50, this being I00% <br />of the contract price, signed by the New York Indemnity Co. <br />The Board signed the contract with Rieth Riley Construction Co., for the <br />construction of pavement on Corby Street from Edd y street to East line of Park Place <br />Addition. Amount of contract being $20,949.50. The Board also approved the construe <br />ion bond for same in the amount of rI0,500.00, ,tithi2 being approximately 50% of the <br />onntract price, signed by the Southern surety �o. , of Des I4roines, Iowa. <br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. gray, submitted the following partial estimates <br />which the Board signed and approved: <br />Partial estimate No.I for the grade, curb and waltk improvement on Iowa. <br />street from Division Street to Jefferson Blvd., in accordance with the terms of the <br />contract between the �'ity and Alex Bukowski, contractors uxider Improvement Resolution <br />No.I824. Board signed and approved same in the amount of _�')I,66I.60. <br />Partial estimate No.I for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Falcon <br />o+ under Improvement Resolution No. I826 <br />Street from Division street to Jefferson Blvd., � s <br />in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and Eston Ball. Board <br />signed and approved same in the amount of 31,737.27. <br />Partial estimate No.I for the sewer improvement on Orpge Street from <br />College street to a point 40 feet west of the east line of Lot 24 ollege Grove Ada., <br />also from Brookfield Street to a point 169.5 feet west of the center line of Brookfie <br />also from Grant Street to the alley west of O'Brien street, in accordance with the <br />terms of the contract be-tween the City and Rocco Simeri, under Improvement Resolution <br />No.I796. Board signed and approved same in the amount of $2,I03.21. <br />Partial estimate No . I for the pavement of Colfax Avenue from Eddy street <br />to Sunnyside Avenue, in aeeordanee with the terms of the contract between the City <br />• and Rieth Riley Construction Co., under Improvement Resolution No.I7I5. Board signed <br />and approved same in the amount of :$6,931.79. <br />Partial estimate No.I for the grade, curb and walk improvement on <br />Ridgedale Road, Avondale Road, and Ridge Road in a"ceordance with the terms of the <br />
