<br />Assistant engineer, ITr. R; L. Pike, filed a report for the grade,,: curb and
<br />walla im- veme-t on Olive Street from Been Street under I mprovement Resolution Tito. I872
<br />Report is as follows
<br />"There are �s:e re resident property owners `on this street, �f �� of whom:
<br />have signed the remonstrance against this improvement, leaving only five for' the''impro`
<br />vement." This constitutes a majority, therefore, the Board cannot let a contract for sai
<br />improvement and declares" all former proceedings 'on aaid resolution, null and void and
<br />the resolution rescinded. ,i
<br />No petitions having been filed for a change of the_ type of pavement other
<br />than that specified in the preliminary order for the pavement of Tecumseh Street from
<br />North curb line of Vlakewa'AvenAe to the South curb line of . Parl�ovash Avenue under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I84I, the Board this I2th. , day of July, I927, Yiereby males
<br />a final order for sheet asphalt as the type of ravement vfith which said street shall:
<br />be improve_._:' and awards the contract for said improvement to the Albert Construction
<br />Co., at their bid of "6,205.64, this being the lowest and best b*d presented. V
<br />No petitions having been filed for a change of thetype of pavement other
<br />than that specified in the preliminary order for the pavement of Wakewa A -venue from
<br />`ichigan �Itreet to Wet property line of Tecumseh Avenue pro jected south, under
<br />Improvement resolution 7.10.I842, the Board this I2th. , day of July, 1927, hereby makes
<br />a final order for sheet asphalt as the t -pe of pavement with which said street shall
<br />be improved and al ards the contract for said improvement to the Albert Construction
<br />Co., at their low bid of 775..52, this being the lowest and best bid presented, i
<br />1110 petitions having been filed for a change of the type of pavement other
<br />than that specified in the preliminary order for the pavement of Corby Street from
<br />Eddy Street to East line of Park Plce Addition under Improvement Resolution T1o.I832,
<br />the Board this I2th. , day of duly, 1927, hereby makes a final order for sheet aspaalt
<br />as the type of ravement withwhich said street shall be improved and awards the
<br />contract for said improvement to the Rieth Riley Construction Uo., at their low bid
<br />of 020,949.50, this being the lowest and best bic. presented. ✓
<br />Petitions having been filed for a change of the type of pavement other than j
<br />that specified in the preliminary order, City Engineer, made the following report on
<br />the peitioo; filed for Oakside Street under Improvement Resolution No.I836:

<br />"There are six resident freeholders on this street within the improved limits;
<br />four of whom have signet_ th petition requesting sheet asphalt pavement on Oalcside
<br />Street under Improvement Resolution No.I836. This number constitutes a ma4ority and
<br />therefore, I „ould recommend that a final order be made for sheet asphalt type of

<br />Board hereby decides in the -matter of the . Oakside Street pavement under Improvement-`
<br />resolution No:I8369 to with hold final action on the above matter until Tuesday_morriing
<br />July I9th. , I9279 at Mhich time the Board will either -award the contract -or,re ject :all

<br />dix Drive to the East line of resolution--for

<br />In the above matter, property owners having waived all objections on and
<br />in defense to any defeat in said proceedings and to any violation in proceedure for the
<br />construction of streets improvements as fixed by law, the Board proceeded to receive,
<br />open and read sealed proposals for the construction of said Improveventnt as follows:
