<br />she Board signed the contract with John F. Hipskind for the construc;t-
<br />tion of a seer on Kinyon Street from Sherman Avenue to a point 20 feet west of the
<br />east line of lot 186 Northwest Addition under Improvement Resolution No.I85I/ Board
<br />also approved the construction bond of same in ihhe amount of 2,443.15 which is 50% of
<br />the contract price, signed by the Inland Bonding Co.
<br />The Board signed the contract with Alex Bukowski for the construction
<br />of grade, curb and walk on Kentuck Street under Improvement- Resolution No.I834. Board
<br />approvdd the construction bond of same in the amount of 1,557.30 which is 100% of the
<br />contract price signed by the United States Fidelity Co.
<br />The Board signed the contract with Alex Bukowski for the construction
<br />of grade,curb and walk on Iowa Street from Division Street to Jefferson Blvd., under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I824. Board approved the construction bond of same in the
<br />amount of �I,954.82 signed by the United States Fidelity Co.
<br />The Board signed the contract with Eston Ball for the construction
<br />of g ade, curb and walk on Lake Street under Improvement Resolution No.I825. Board
<br />approved the construction bond of same signed by Few York Indemnity Co., for $2,278.45
<br />which is I00% of the contract price.
<br />The Board signed the contract with Eston Ball for the construction
<br />of grade, curb and walk on T"Iellington Street under Improvement Resolution NoOI827,
<br />Board approved the contruction bond of same signed by the New York Indemnity Co., in
<br />the amount of V21277.05 which is I00c of the contract price.
<br />The Board signed the co#tract with Eston Ball for the construction
<br />of grade, curb and walk on Falcon Street under Improvement Resolution No.I826. Board
<br />approved the construction bond of same signed by the New York: Indemnity Co., in the
<br />amount of =$2,.043.85 which is I006' of the contract price.
<br />Thin; being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll
<br />for the pavement of Angella Avenue from Leeper Avenue to a point 5.6 ft west of the
<br />east line of the right of way pf Sputhern Michigan Railway under Improvement Resolutioh
<br />No,1700.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and
<br />no written remonstrance was filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises,
<br />finds that the lots and several parcels of land which have been a ssessdd for said
<br />improvement, have been -benefited in the amounts shoinm on said roll. The Board, there-
<br />fore, declares said assessment roll, filed June 29th., I927, in all things ratified,
<br />confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment
<br />roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for
<br />the pavement of Lafayette Street from Angella Avenue East oi' Lafayette Street to the
<br />South line of Parkovash Avenue under Improvement Resolution ho.I699.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and
<br />no written remonstrance was filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises,
<br />finds that the several lots and parcels of land which have been assessed for said
<br />improvement, hace been or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said roll. The
<br />Board, therefore, declares said assessment roll, filed June 29th., I927, in all things
<br />ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders
<br />said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance.

<br />rolls:

<br />Assessment roll for the pavement of allyys in Belleville Addition
<br />under Improvement Resolution Tyo.I792. Amount due Achille C. Colparrt, contractor,
<br />:8,490.29.
<br />In all of the above named assessment rolls, the Board hereby ord_.rs
<br />that on the I2th. , day of July, I927, this Board will meet in their office in the City
<br />Hall at I0:00 A. M. , to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
<br />has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and
<br />oabeels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said rolls.
<br />Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published in the South
<br />Bend News Times and Tribune on the 7th. , day of July and on the 8th. , day of July,
<br />I927.
