<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolu-
<br />tion No..I82I for the construction of grade, curb and walk on Kaley Street from
<br />,Ellwood 11-7enue to Marquette Blvd.
<br />In the above matter, one property owner appeared and remonstrat
<br />against said improvement, and the Board, therefore, decides to rescind all former
<br />action taken on said improvement resolution No.I82I and declares saiad null and voi
<br />and the proceedings closed.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the Improvement
<br />Resolution No.I846 for the construction of grade, curb and -walk on Johnson Street
<br />from Hamilton Street to Wilson Street.

<br />In the above matter, one property owner appeared and remonstrate-,d
<br />against said improvement and after hearing all persons interested in said improve-
<br />ment, the Board decides to modify said resolution to read as follows:
<br />Grade, curb and walk on Johnson Street to Hamilton Street to
<br />Pershing Street.
<br />With said modification, the Board, being -dully advised in the
<br />premises, finds that the benefits to the seareral lots and parcels of land 11&ble
<br />to be assessed for said improvement will be -equal'to:s_the estimated cost of said im
<br />provement as reported by the City Engineer, and therefore, decides to sustain all
<br />former action taken on said improvement resolution No.I846 and declares -same in
<br />all things ratified, confirmed and approved as modified.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following
<br />improvement resolutions:.
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I842 for the pavement on Wakewa Avenu
<br />from Michigan Street to the west property line of Tecumseh Avenue, projected South
<br />Improvement resolution No.I843 for the pavement on Altgeld Ave.
<br />from the west line bf High Street to Miami Street.
<br />Improvement esolution No.I845 for the widening, pavement and
<br />boulevard lighting system on Chapin Street from the south curb line of lashington
<br />Avenue to the south line of Monroe Street running west from Chapin Street.
<br />Improvement resolution No.I847 for the construction of grade,
<br />curb and walk on Main Street from Woodside Street to Dean Avenue.
<br />In all of the above named resolutions, no remonstrators appeared
<br />and no written remonstrance was filed, and the Board, being fully advised in the
<br />premises, findts that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable
<br />to be assessed for said improvements, will be equal to the estimated costs of same
<br />as reported by the City Engineer and that the improvements�.are,necessary. The
<br />Board therefore decides to sustain all former action taken on said improvement
<br />resolutions and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved with-
<br />out modification.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on improvement resolu-
<br />tion No.I84I for the pavement of Tecumseh Street from north curb line of Wakewa
<br />Avenue to the South curb line of Parkovash Avenue.
<br />In the above named resolution a written remonstrance was filed
<br />and the Boar d being fully tdvised in the premises finds that the benefits to the
<br />several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement are
<br />equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer and that
<br />the improvement is necessary and therefore, the Board decides to over rule said
<br />remonstrance and declares said resolution- in h11 things ratified, confirmed and
<br />approved without Modification. The Board hereby refers the written remonstrance
<br />to the City Engineer for final check from property list.
<br />The Board signed the contract with the Twyckenham Land and
<br />Investment Co., for the construction of grade, curb and walk on Woodside Street
<br />from Twyckenham Drive to Ridgeroad under Improvement Resolution No.I855. Board
<br />approved the construction bond for same in the amount of $6,85I.90 which is
<br />I00% of the contract price and signed by the New York Indemnity Co., of N. Y.
<br />The Board signed the contract with the Twyckenham Land and
<br />Investment Co., for the construction of a sewer on Avondale Road from Twyckenham
<br />Drive to Rldgedale Road also on Ridgedale Road from Twyckenham Drive to Ridge Roacl
<br />under Improvement Resolution No.I848. Board approved the construction bond for
<br />{ same in the amount of 5,486.00 which is IOO o of the contract price and. signed. by
<br />the New York Indemnity Co.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was hdd on the assessment roll
<br />for the construction of curb on the North side of Almond Court from Ist., alley
<br />E. of St. Peter Street to the 3rd., alley E of St. Peter Street under Improvement
<br />{ Resolution No.I708.
<br />In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance was filed, and the Board, being.fully advised in the premises, finds';
<br />that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement
<br />have been benefited in the -.amounts shovm on said assessmdn,t roll and therefore
