Miami Street; also on IYrarine Street from the North line of Lot 56 Ridged.ale 2nd' Addition to alley north cif Fairview Avenue under Improvement resolution No.I8T8. The Board approved the construction bond covering same in the amount of 37, 40I.30 ' which is 100% of the contract price signed by New York Indemnity Co. The -Board signed the contract with the Twyckenhem Land ,and Invest;ient o. , for the construction of light traffic concrete pavement on gale Avenue from Bonmoyer � Avenue to Oakside Street and on Woodside Street from West line of lot 294 in Charles eidler's 2nd., Addition to Fast line of Lot 289in Charles Weidlers 2nd., Addition der Improvement Resolution No.I8I7. Board approved the construction .bod for said I ontra.et in the amount of $15,467.58 which is 100% of the contract price, signed by I ;the New York Indemnity do. City A ngineer, Mr. H. G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estimat nd the Board adopted the following Improvement Resolutions: Improvement Resolution No.I830 for the pavement of the first alley �est of Michigan Street from Marion Street to Navarre Street. (See files for copy.) frill Improvement resolution No.I832 for the pavement of ' Corby Street from n ddy Street to East line of Park Place Addition. ( See files for copy of resolution.) j i Improvement Resolution No.I833 for the pavement on Eyeing Avenue from lami Street to Leer Street. (See files for copy of resolution*) Improvement resolution No.I834 for the construction of g--=ade, curb nd walk on Kentucky Street from Jefferson Blvd , to Washington Avenue. (See filed for Opy of resolution.) Improveipemt Resolution No.I835 for the donstruction of local sewer long MlcKinley Avenue from West line of Lot 58 Jefferson Park Addition to Greenlawn venue. ( See files for copy of resolution.) Improvement Resolution No.I836 for the pavement on Oakside Street rom West line of Fellows Street to Miami Street. (See files for copy of resolution.) Improvement Resolution No.I837 for the pavement on Twenty-eighth breet from Mishawaka. Avenue to Grand Trunk Wes tern Railroad. (See files for copy of esolution.) I all of the above named resolutions, the Board hereby orders that n the 8th., day of June, I927, this Board at it's office in the City11 at 7-I5 P. 11., will meet to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property is fable to be assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots Lnd parcels of land will be -benefited in amounts equal to the engineer's estimates, Board further orders that notices of said hearings be published on vn the I3th. , day of May and on the 20th. , day of May I927, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune. Board further orders that notices be ,mailed to property owners according to law. j The Board approved the Easement filed by the Chicago South Shore annd �outh Bend Railroad Co., for the construction of the Northwest Trunk Viewer across and • inderneath the tr&kks of said company. In the matters of Improvement Resolution No.I707 for the construction f pavement on Ford Street from Olive Street to Kaley Street and Improvement Resolution o.I7I5 for the construction of pavement on Colfax Avenue from Eddy Street to Sunnyside venue, the Board hereby orders that on the 24th., day of May, I927, at I0-00 A. M. his Board will open, receive, and consfder sealed proposals for the above named improve eats. Board furh-er orders that notices of said proposals be,published in the News times and Tribune on the I3th., day of May and on the loth., day of kay, 1927. The Board granted the Studebaker Corporation permission to erect temporary tent for their used car department at the corner of Lafayette Street and w, ivision Street. The Board approved the excavation bond of Distler P2L.hmbing Co., signed The Aetna Casualty and Surety Co. Upon the recommendation of Fire Chief, Roy A. Kn.owblock, the Board granted the Standard Oil Co., permission to fill the empty gasoline tanks with sand, the tank being located on the South side of the LaSalle Annex Garage. These tanks will not be used for gasoline at this time and by granting this permission it will save the company considerable expense in all6wing them to remain,.
