Tuesday Aril I9th. , 1927. <br />Board met in regular session at 9 A. M. All members present. <br />Minutes of meetings held April I2th., and April I3th., 1927 read <br />and approved. <br />City Engineer, fir. H. G. Wray, filed plans and the Board adopted <br />the following Vacation Resolutions: <br />Vacation Resolution No.I80I for the vacation of the alley north of <br />Bartlett Street from Vilest line of Main Street to the Fast line of the Ist., alley <br />West of Main Street. (See files for copy of Resolution.) <br />Vacation Resolution No.2800 for the vacation of the alley crest of <br />Main Street from the South line of Foote Street to the North line bf the Ist., alley <br />South of Foote Street. ( See files for copy of Resolution.) <br />Vacation Resolution No.I809 for the Vacation- of alleys in LaSalle <br />Park. (See files for copy of Resolution.) <br />Vacation Resolution No.I8I0 for -the Vacation of alleys in Lincoln <br />Park. (See files fnr copy of Resolution.) <br />In all of the above Vacation Resolutions the Board hereby orders <br />that on the IIth. , day of May, 1927, at 7-I5 P. M. , this Board, at it's office in the'. <br />City Hall, will meet to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose <br />property may be affected by said Vacation Resolutions. Board further orders that <br />notices of said hearings be published on the 23rd., day of April and on the 30th. , <br />day of April,. I927, in the South Bend Tribune and News Times, according to law. <br />City Engineer, 11r. H. G. Wray, filed plans anal the Board adopted a <br />resolution for the widening of Kline Street from Calvert Street to Ewing Avenue under' <br />Condemnation Resolution No.1799# (See files for c opu of Resolution.) <br />In the above matter, the Board hereby orders that on the Ilth., day <br />of April, 1927, at 7-I5 P. M., this Board will meet at it's office in the City Hall <br />to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may be affected <br />by said condemnation resolution. Board further orders that notices of said hearing <br />be published on the 23rd., day of April and on the 30th., day of April, 192% in <br />the South B#nd Tribune and News Times according to law. <br />The Board approv=d the contractors Bond of-I,000.00 in behalf of <br />Scope Bros., signed by The Fidelity and Casualty Co., of New York. <br />The Board approved the contractors bond of $I,000.00 in behalf of <br />Michael Tomaszewski signed by Michael Hazinski and Charles Korpal, both resident <br />i Freehold Surities. <br />The Board approved the renewal certificate of Contractors Bond. of <br />$I,000.00 in behalf of Geo. McNabbq Plumber, signed by American Surety Co., of New <br />York. <br />The Board signed the contract with Harry N. B rnes for the construct- <br />ion of grade, curb and walk on Jacob Street, Madison Street, edar Street and diner <br />Street under Improvement Resolution No.I797. The Board also_ approved the''eonstructio <br />bond on this contract, the bond being for 100% of theeontract price or $7,051655 <br />signed by the New York IndemnityCo. <br />The Board signed and approved the following bills: <br />i <br />Book Shop 8.00 <br />Geo.
