H. Webster at his low bid of 2,572.25. <br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Wray, filed a statement from Carl D. Trailer <br />Contractor for the Southeast Trunk Sewer, for extras amounting to $9,508.75,, Attached <br />to said statement was her. Wray's recommendation that said bill in the amount of <br />39,508.75 should not be allowed . Mr. Wray's recommendation is as follows: <br />T' Memo to the Board of Public Works." <br />Gentlemen: <br />April 5th., I927. <br />Attached hereto you will please find a statement of Yr.-Carl <br />D. Traxler against the City of South Bend, for extra work in connection with his <br />contract for the Southeast Trunk hewer. <br />These extras should not be allowed in connection with this <br />contract for the reason. that the contrait does not provide for any extra wor1q unless <br />upon the written order of the Engineer and the Board of Public forks,.
