<br />Assessment roll for the pipe sewer on Newcome Street from Meade Street to a
<br />point 70 feet east of the Fast line of Kaley Street under Improvement Resolution
<br />!� No.I628.
<br />Assessment roll for the pipe sewer on Washington Avenue from Meade Street to
<br />Kaley Street and Kaley Street from a point I8 feet north of the north line of
<br />Newcome Street to a point 30 feet south of the south line of Colfax Avenue under
<br />Improvement resolution No.I626.
<br />In all of the above assessment rolls, no,remonstrators appeardd and no --written
<br />remonstrance was filed, and the Board, being fully advised in the premises,, finds
<br />that the benefits accruing to the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed
<br />for said. improvements, are equal to the amounts set Apposite said lots and parcels
<br />of land on said primary rolls, and declares said assessment rolls, filed February
<br />j 22nd,m 1927, in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings
<br />closed. Board further orders the above named assessment rolls delivered to the
<br />Department- of Finance.
<br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. dray, filed plans and specifications and the Board
<br />adopted a resolution for the construction of a sewer on Sheridan Avenue from the
<br />South line of the Ist. , alley South of Division Street to a point 82 feet South
<br />under Improvement Resolution No.1786.

<br />In the above matter, the Board hereby orders that on the 6th., day of April
<br />1927., this Board at it's office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. M., will meet to hear
<br />and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property is liable to be affected
<br />by said improvement. Board further orders that notices of said hearing be published
<br />in the News Times and Tribune on the I8th., day of March and on the 25th., day of
<br />March I927.
<br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Wray, filed primary assessment roll for the pipe sewer
<br />on Frederickson Street and Prast Street from Johnson Street to O'Brien street and
<br />O'Brien Street from Prast Street to Ist., alley south of Frederickson Street under
<br />Improvement resolution No.1759.
<br />In the above matter, the Board hereby orders that on the 30th. , day of March,
<br />1927, this Board will meet to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose
<br />property has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the lots
<br />and parcels pf land which have been assessed for said improvement have been benefited
<br />in the amounts shown on said roll or in a greater or less degree. Board further
<br />orders that notices of said hearing be published in the South Bend News Times and
<br />Tribune on the I8th., day of March and on the 25th., day of March, I927.
<br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. dray, filed plans and specifications and the Board
<br />adopted a resolution for the construction of a sewer along Gladstone Avenue from
<br />the South line of Lot #676 Belleville 3rd., Unit, to the center line of the alley
<br />South of Division Street. Sheriden Avenue from the ebStth line of lot 411 Belleville
<br />3rd.., Unit, to the center line of the alley South of Division Street, (except from
<br />the South line of the ist., alley South of Division Street to a point 82 feet South),
<br />The first alley South of Division Street from the first alley East of Sherialan. Avenue
<br />to the first alley ,test of Gladstone Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.1785.
<br />In the above matter, the property owners waived all objections on and in defense
<br />to any defect in said proceedings, whereupon the Board opened and read the following
<br />bids for the construction of said sewers:

<br />There being only one bid on the above improvement, the Board this I6th., day
<br />of March, I927, hereby awards the contract for said improvement to the Northern
<br />Indiana Construction Co.
<br />Upon the recommendation of I. S. Romig, City Attorney, the Board approved the
<br />following Easements from the Twyckenham Land and Investment Company:
<br />"EASEMENT" I'
<br />"In consideration of the City of South Bend making an effort to sewer the following;
<br />described land and the right to tap in and use the sewers and the benefits to be
<br />derived therefrom, the Twyckenham Land and Investment Company, a Deleware chrporation
<br />with offices in the City of South Bend, Indiana, does hereby grant to the City of
<br />South Bend, Indiana, the right to law, maintain, operate and repair certain sewers j
<br />from Miami Heights Addition to the City of South Bend, so as to connect them with the
<br />Southeast Trunk Sewer through and along the follol,;ring described real estate in the
<br />Northwest quarter of Section I9, Township 37 North, Range 3 East, in St. Joseph County,
<br />Indiana, to wit: 1
<br />Beginning at the Southeast, corner of Lot Number Forty-eight (48) in Miami
<br />Heights Addition to the City of South Bead; thence East parallel with and
<br />two hundred ninety-five and 54/I00 (295.541) feet South of the south line of
<br />Ewing Avenue, a distance of.Five Hundred Sixty (560) feet to.the.Southeast
<br />Trunk Sewer located in proposed Twyckenham Drive`; thence South Sixty (60) a�
<br />feet; thence west five hundred sixty (560) feet to the Northeast Corner of
<br />Lot Number One Hundred Eleven (III) Miami Heights Addition to the City of
<br />South Bernd, thence North :Sixty (641) feet to the placeof beginning.
