Street under Improvement resolution No.I720.
In all of the above assessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared -
and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the
premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of lands have been benefited in
the amounts shown on said rolls, and therefore sustains all former action taken on
said improvements and declares said rolls, filed February 8th., 1927, in all things
ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. Board now orders that
said assessment rolls be delivered to the Department of Finance.
This being the date set, continued hearing was had on the
assessment roll for the 24th., Street Trunk Sewer under Improvement Resolution
No.I644.
In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written
remonstrance was filed, and the Board being fully advised in the premises, finds
that benefits to the several lots and parcels of land prima--ily assessed for said
improvements are equal to the amounts as shorn on said roll., and therefore, declares
said roll, filed February Ist. , I927, in all things ratified, confirmed and approved
and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said roll_ delivered to the Depart-
This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll
for the pipe sewer on St. Peter Street from 'Payne Street to the alley south of Wayne'..
Street under Improvement Resolution No.I694.
in the above matter, Marry Ullery, owner of lots 273 qnd 279
remonstrated against the assessments of said lots, declaring that he had been obliged
to have three manholes eonseructed on his property to drain off the water which
came down St. Peter Street from Vjayne Street. Mr. Ullery asked that the Board reduce
his assessment in the amount equal to the amount he was oblige"dtto pay for these
manholes. After due consideration, the Board findsthat these manholes were constructed
of. Te-r. Ulleryts private property, and therefore the City cannot make any allowance
in the assessments for the St. Peter Street Sewer on said lots 273 and 279. Board
finds that the benefits accrmaing to the several lots and parcels of land which
have been assessed for said improvement, are equal to the apiounts shoe-,rn on said roll,
and therefore, declares said roll, filed February _8th., I927, in all things ratified,
under Improvement Resolution No.I672.
In the above matter, Essie A. Lewis, owner of lot-173, remonstrated
against his assessment of I32.47. After hearing all persons interested in said
roll, the Board, decides to mollify the assessment of lot I73 from 70x46.79 to
40x46,79 , making his assessment 79.I0 instead of I32.47, and modifies said roll
so that the other lots and parcels of land which have been assessed for said improvement
shall be benefited in greater amounts that that shown on the Prima facie assessment'
roll. Board therefore, declares said roll in all things ratified, confirmed and
approved as modified, and the proceedings closed. Board now orders said roll
