<br />Board met in. regular session at 7-I5 P. IT,. All members present.
<br />This being the date set, hearing vus had on the Vacation of the North and
<br />South Alleys in Belleville Third Unit Addition under Vacation Resolution 110.I772.
<br />In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance
<br />was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, decides to sustain all
<br />former action taken on said Vacation resolution and declares same in all things,,,
<br />ratified,, confirmed and approved.
<br />The Board now: orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners or
<br />holders of property and of valuable interests the-ein sought to be taken or to be
<br />innjuriously affected, which roll shall also describe the property beneficially affeet-
<br />This being the date set, continued hearin, was had on the vacation of the
<br />portion of the third alley west of Laporte Avenue from the ist., alley North of
<br />Colfax to a point 60 feet.South of the Northwest corner_ of lot 49 Rockafellers 2nd.,!
<br />-Addition, under Vacation Resolution No,1766.
<br />In the above matter, Abr. Aaron Huguenard, attorney for the Chicago, South
<br />Bend Railway Co., advised.•the Board that at the time the Railway Co., petitioned for
<br />the vacation of this alley, they felt that they were protecting the surrounding
<br />property *owners and in so much as the property owners feel that their rights are
<br />being infringed upon by said vacation, the Railway Company desires to withdraw the
<br />petition. After hearing all persons concerned in said Vacation, the Board hereby
<br />rescinds all former action on said Vacation Resolution and declares same null and
<br />void$ and the proceedings closed.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following Assessment
<br />rolls: -
<br />Assessment roll for the construction of Pipe Sewer on Fox Street from
<br />alley west of Clyde Street to Caroline Street under Improvement Resolution Nto.I734.
<br />Assessment roll for the construction of Pipe Sewer on Oakside Street between
<br />Yiami Street and Ist alley west of Dale Avenue under Improvement resolution Bo.I67I.
<br />Assessment roll for the construction of grade, curb, walk, water connections
<br />and sheet asphalt pavement on Palmer Boulevard from Nast line of Harriett Street to
<br />East line of 14dison Park Additions under Improvement resolution No.I723.
<br />In all of the matters, no remonstrators appeared' and no written remonstrance
<br />was filed and the Board being fully advised in the -premises, finds that the lots and
<br />parcels of land which have been assessed for said improvements, have been or will be
<br />benefited in the amounts shown on said rolls and therefore, `declares said rolls,
<br />filed February 3rd., I927, in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the
<br />proceedings closed. Board further orders said rolls delivered to the Department
<br />of Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the
<br />construction of a Pipe Sewer on Donmoyer Avenue from High Street to a point 152
<br />feet `rest of the center line of Viami Street, under Improvement Resolution No,1735,
<br />In the above matter, 1r. Ferdinard, ocrmer of lot No.347, appeared and
<br />complained about the condition of the street along the line of the sewer. Mr,
<br />Hipskind, th contractor for this work v:as present and said he would send his men
<br />out to take care of same just as soon as the weather would allow. After all persons
<br />interested in same and no written remonstrance being filed, the Board being fully
<br />advised in the premises, finds that the lots and parcels of land which have been
<br />assessed for said improvement, have been benefited in the amounts as shown on said
<br />roll, and therefore declares said roll, filed February 3rd. , I92% in all things
<br />ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. Board now orders said
<br />roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the
<br />construction of Twenty-fourth Street Sewer System under Improvement Resolution
<br />No.I644.
<br />Upon the request of Russell T. Smith, president of the Coouillard Land
<br />Go., the Board decides to continue the hearing on this roll until February 23rd.

<br />This being the date, hearing was had on the Improvement Resolution No,1773
<br />for the construction of local sewer system known as the Randolph -Hoke Street Sewer
<br />system.
<br />In the above matter, rie<,1emonstrators appeared and no' written remon-
<br />strance was filed and the Board
<br />being `=fully �..dvis�d, � finds that the benefits
<br />to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement, as equal to the
<br />estimated cost of same as reported bar the City Engineer, and thereupon, takes final
<br />action on same, d;claring said resolution in all things ratified, confirmed and
<br />approved.
