Tuesday, December 21st., I926. Board met in. regular session at 9-30 A. !��% All members present. Vinutes of meetings held December 24th., December I5th., and Dece?_rber 17th., I926, .rea.d and approved. This being the date set, continued hearing was had on the. assessment roll for the pavement on 7illiam Street from "�Tashington avenue to Colfax Avenue under Improvement'Resolution No.1636. In,the'above matter, the Board hereby orders that the assess ment roll be-odified so as to reduce the assessment of Clara L. LaPierre, giving her 65% of the original assessment, and distributing the remaining 35°o between the two lots west of' LaPierre property on Colfax rvenue, allowingthe first 50 feet west of said corner lot to take 25% of the assessment and the second 50 feet to take the remaining I01/9 of the original assessment. The Board further instructs the city -Engineer to show this modification on the roll and sets the 29th., day of December I9263, as the time when said Board will meet'to hear and receeve remonstrances fron all persons whose property has been assessed for said improvement. and will decide whether the lots and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said roll. Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published on the 27th. day of Lecember and on the 28th., day of.December I9§6, in the `'ouch Bend NewsFines and Tribune. Mr. Ernest T. Young, filed plans and specifications and the Board adopted a resolution for the interior alterations in the City Hall. In the above matter, the Board hereby orders that on the 4th., dey of January, I927, this Board will meet at their office in the City Hall at I0:00 A. a�., and will receive, open and consider bids for the above described work, Board further orders that -notices of said proposals shall. be published in the So uth Bend_ News - `himes and Tribune on the 24th. ', day of December and on the 3Ist., day of Lecem_ber, I926. Upon the reconmend^tion of Buildingcommissioner !,`r. P�oomaw the Board granted permission to the hiver Park Theather orporation to erect an elgetric sign on their new building at 2927 Mishawaka Avenue. This sign will extent about three feet higher than the building but owing to other conditions, the buildin commissioner recommended same. The Board approved the bid of Smoger Lumber Co., for the construction of -rive way at Hose House No.$, at their bid of I64.00. The Board approved the Plat of Elwood Yanor Second Addition with the following dedication: "The annexed plat is a plat of Elwood 1janor Second Addition to the �;ity of South B,.nd, St. Joseph �;ounty. Indiana, and comprises the following described tract of land to wit: The West one half (2) of the southeast one quarter (g) of the southeast one quarter (') of 6ect ion Thirtyfour (34), township 38 north, range 2 Range 2 East. The Plat contains sixty (60) lots nuiibered from one hundred twenty one (I2I) to one hundred eighty (I80) inclusive. The size of the lots and the widths of the streets and alleys are marked on the plat in feet and decimals of feet.
