<br />on Magnolia Street under Improvement Res oluti cri Co.I739, the Board this 20th, ; day
<br />of October., 1926, hereby awards the contract for said improvement to the L. H. Webster
<br />at his low bid of I,023.60.
<br />Bids having been received for the construction af a local :sewer -on
<br />X. sh' Street under Improvement Resolution No.I740., the Board this 20th., day of October,

<br />I926, hereby awards the contract for said improvement to I. W. Staples at his low
<br />i
<br />bid of 1,069.80.

<br />City Engineer, 1dr. H. G. Wray, filed plans and specifications and the
<br />Board adopted a resolution for the construction of sidewalk on the North side of Prast
<br />Street from Johnson Street to 2nd. , alley mst of Johnson Street, under Improvement
<br />resolution No.I758..
<br />In the above matter, ,the Board hereby orders that on the IOth., day
<br />of November, I926, this Board at it's office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. M., will
<br />meet to hear and 'receive remonstrances from -all persons whose property will be effected
<br />j
<br />by.,sand improv ment and wit decide whether the benefits to said properties will equal
<br />the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer. Board further orders
<br />that notices of said hearing be published on the 22rid. , day of October and on the 29th.
<br />day of October, 1926, in the News Times and Tribune, and that notices be mailed to
<br />property owners according to law.

<br />Both of the above resolutions having been waived, the Board hereby
<br />orders that on: the - 27th., day of October, I926, this Board at fit s office- in the City•
<br />Hall at 7-I5 P. V. will meetto hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose
<br />property has been affected by said improvements and will decide whether the lots
<br />or tracts of land have been cr will be benefited in the amounts shown on said rolls.

<br />In all of the above matters, the Board hereby orders that on the
<br />27th., day'of October, 1926, this Board at itts office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. M.,
<br />will meet to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been
<br />affected by said improvements and will decide whether the lots or parcels assessed on
<br />said rolls have been .,or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said rolls. Board
<br />further orders that notices of the above hearings be published in the News Times'and
<br />South Bend Tribune on the 22nd. , day of October and on the 23rd. , day of October, I926,
<br />and that notices be mailed property owners.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on thel�essment roll for
<br />the pevement on Bronson Street under Improvement Resolution No.
<br />In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no umitten
<br />remonstrance was filed but the City Engineer, Mr. H. G. `array, finds that the cost
<br />of straight curb should have been .45� a lineal foot instead of .60¢, and the Board
<br />I; therefore, orders the clerk to make this change in the roll and pro -rate the
<br />reduction over the entire district. The Board being fulling advised in'the premises
<br />finds that the lots and parcels pf land which are assessed on s aid roll, have been
<br />benefited in the amounts as shown on the modified roll and therefore deElares said
