ACTION (ADVERTISEICONTACT), In order for your bid to be deemed responsive, the City of South Bend requires that all perspective bidders complete no less than 2 of the following: 1. Attend all pre -bid meetings scheduled by the City to inform MBEANBEs of contracting and subcontracting opportunities. 2. Advertise in general circulation and/or trade association publications concerning subcontracting opportunities, and allow MBEIWBEs reasonable time to respond. 3. Perform any and all necessary steps to provide written notice in a manner reasonably calculated to inform MBENVBEs of subcontracting opportunities and allowed sufficient time for them to participate effectively. 4. Utilize pre-existing services of available community organizations, small and/or disadvantaged business assistance offices and other organizations that provided assistance in the recruitment and placement of MBENVBE firms.
