Filed in Clerk's Office <br /> BILL NO. 17-18 MAR 0 7 2019 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> KAREEMAH FOWLER <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE C <br /> TH BEND,IN <br /> BEND,INDIANA,APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR CERTAIN <br /> DEPARTMENTAL AND ENTERPRISE OPERATIONS IN 2018 OF $77,000 <br /> FROM PARKING GARAGE FUND (#601) AND $52,250 FROM WATER WORKS <br /> O&M FUND (#620). <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The Common Council passed the City's 2018 operating and capital budgets in <br /> 2017 (Ordinance#10537-17 passed on October 23, 2017), which included expenditures <br /> for various City enterprise operations. It is now necessary to appropriate additional funds <br /> for operational expenditures necessary for the City to effect provision of services to its <br /> citizens which were not anticipated at the time the City budget was adopted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br /> Section I. The following amounts are hereby appropriated in fiscal year 2018 and <br /> set apart within the following designated funds for operational expenses as follows: <br /> FUND Amount <br /> Parking Garage Fund (#601) $ 77,000 <br /> Water Works O&M (#620) 52,250 <br /> TOTAL $ 129,250 <br /> Section II.
