<br />Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. 11T. Ralph H. Kuss absent.
<br />Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the Albert Construction o . , on
<br />the Sheet Asphalt pavement on Campeau Street from Francis Street to the East line of
<br />Park Place 2nd., and 5rd., Additions, under Improvement Resolution No.1655.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on .the Assessment Rol 1 for the
<br />Campeau Street Improvement under Improvement Resolution No.I655.
<br />In the above matter, property owners remonstrated against their various
<br />assessments but no written remonstrance was filed. After hearing all persons
<br />concerned, the Board finds that the lots and parcels of Land so assessed have been
<br />benefited in the amounts as shown on said roll and the Board, therefore, declares
<br />said roll, filed August 25th. , I926, in all things ratified, confirmed and apT oved
<br />and the proceedings closed.
<br />Hearing had on the Assessment Roll for. the vacation of the alley North
<br />of Broadway from the ',;est Line of the 2nd., alley `'". of Miamit Street to the F. L.
<br />of the 2nd., alley Fast of High Street under Improvement Resolution No.I674.
<br />In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance
<br />was filed and the Board finds that the dnmagebyand benefits to the property are
<br />equal and the Board, therefore, declares said roll, filed "ugust I8th., 1926,
<br />in .all things ratified, approved an confirmed and the proceedings closed.
<br />Bearing had on Improvement Re so lut ion No.I724 for the pavement of Corby
<br />?� Street from Lddy Street" to the Last line of Park Place Addition.
<br />In the above matter, remonstrators appeared but there were fifteen
<br />property owners present in favor of the improvement against fourteen who were against
<br />the improvement. The Board, therefore, decides, to over rule the remonstrance and
<br />declares said resolution ratified, confirmed and approved. Property owners hove
<br />ten days in which to }Pring in a majority of resident freeholders in order to stop
<br />preceedings on said resolution.
<br />City Engineer,.T"r. H. G.'"ray, filed plans and specifications and the
<br />Board adopted the following Improvement Resolutions:
<br />Improvement Resolution No.T_734 flor the construction of a sewer on Fox Stree
<br />between the alley pest of Clyde Street and Caroline 6treet.
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I735 for the construction of a sewer on. Donmoyer
<br />"venue from High Street to a point I52 feet '`-est of the center line of YiAm.i';Street.
<br />In both of the above matters, the Board rereby orders that on the 22nd. ,
<br />day of Oepterpber, I926m this Board s t it T s cf f ice in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. M. ,
<br />will hear and receive all persons interested in or of fected by said resolution.

<br />of Septnber and on the IOth., day of September, I926, in the South Bend Tribune and
<br />News Times.
<br />Upon the recommendation of City Engineer, ?:?r. H. G. :.'.Tray, the Board
<br />approved the payment of a bill from Tillman Bros., Plumbing Co., against George
<br />Pontarelli, contractor for the River Park Sewer No.3. This bill of II.Q0 to be
<br />paid out of the sum of I,000.00, which was deposited by George Pontarelli with the
<br />City Controller to take care of any items of expense in connection with this sewer.

<br />John F . Hipskind, contractor, under Improvement Resolution No.I648. Board approved
<br />and signed sane in the amount of 2,984.28.

<br />to Prairies venue in accordance with the terms of the contra_et between the city and
