<br />Board met in regular session. at 7-I5 P. IT. All members present. i
<br />This being the day set, hearings were had on the following Assessment Rolls:
<br />Pipe Sewer on Bronson Street from Eddy Street to Sunnyside Avenue under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I569.
<br />Grade, curb and walk on OtBrien Street from '7erwinski Street to the North
<br />line of Janowski's 2nd., Subdivision under Improvement Resolution No.I573.
<br />Grade., curb and w alk.on High Street from 7wing Avenue to Fairview Avenue under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I590.
<br />Grade, curb and walk on Elwood Avenue from Olive Street to Meade Street under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I589.
<br />Concrete pavement on the Alley between Elder Street and Paris Street from
<br />Carroll Street to the 2nd., alley "Vest of Carroll Street under Improvement Resolution
<br />I549.
<br />Grade, curb, walk and ravement on South Street from Eddy Street to Sunnyside
<br />Avenue under Improvement Resolution No. I568.
<br />In all of the above matters, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstr
<br />ce was filed and the Board finds that all lots and tracts of land have been benefited
<br />in the amounts named on said rolls. The Board therefore, decides to sustain all
<br />former action on said rolls and declare same, filed August 4th., I926 and August I8th.
<br />I926, in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed.
<br />This being the date set for the hearing on the Assessment Roll on the
<br />Diagonal Street grade, curb, walk and pavement improvement under Improvement
<br />Resolution No.I5I8.
<br />In the above matter, Judge Lenn Oare, representing ?:ors. Edna Beberger
<br />sole
<br />heir to
<br />the Henrietta Reass estate, =appeared and remonstrated against said assessment.
<br />Judge Oare
<br />pointed out the fact that the assessment on this Feass property was
<br />disproportionate
<br />to the benefits to the property. Judge Oare filed a written
<br />remon-
<br />strance
<br />against the assessment of said property.
<br />After hearing all persons interested in said Assessment Roll, the Board
<br />decides
<br />to modify said roll, the modifications consisting of a reduction of approximat
<br />ly 35%
<br />on various lots on said roll. The Reductions are shown in red on said
<br />roll
<br />and are

<br />The total amount of the reduction, 2,35.34, to be appropriated out of the
<br />General, round to take care of this allowance.
<br />Upon hearing of the reduction, Judge Oare, in behalf of the Henrietta
<br />Reass estate, withdrew the remonstrance, and the Board, therefore, declares said
<br />rod 1, filed August 4th. , I926, in a 11 thing ratifi ed, confirmed and approved, as
<br />modified, and the proceedings closed.
<br />The Board approved the following Guarantee Bonds:
<br />'.7hitcomb and Heller for the construction of Pipe Sewer on Bronson Street f rom
<br />Eddy Street to Sunnyside .Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.I569. Bond signed
<br />by the Inland Bonding Co., for 266.9I.
<br />E. T. Tranberg for the pavement of the alley between Elder Street and Paris
<br />Street from Carroll to the 2nd. , alley '.-Test of Carroll Street, under Impr ovei�ent
<br />Resolution No.I549. Bond signed by the '_m erican Employers Insurance Co., of Boston,
<br />Yass., forrI65.32.
