<br />Hearing had on the following Vacation ma's ses sment rolls:
<br />Vacation of alley between lots 44 and 45 '`?orth Si,ore Terrace Addition under
<br />Vacation Resolution No.I658.
<br />Vacation of alley bordering west �ine of Lot 97 S. B. & Gary Land Co.rs
<br />Addition from N. Line of Ualvert to S. Line of E. R 7.". alley North of Cplvert under
<br />Vacation resolution No.1657.
<br />In both of the above Assessment Rolls, the board finds that the benefits
<br />to the property are equal to the damages and amounting to nothing and the Board,
<br />therefore declares said roll, filed July 20th., I926, in all things ratiffied, confirmec
<br />and apW oved and the proceedings closed.
<br />Hearing also hed on the follwwing assessment rolls:
<br />Sewer on "all Street under Improvement Resolution Yo.I646.
<br />Sewer on Chester and I1.mer son Streets under Improvement Resolution No.I645.
<br />In the above matters, the Board decides to continue hearing of said rolls
<br />for one week., August I8th., I926.
<br />City Engineer, 7.'r. u. G. 'Fray, filed the following assessment Rolls:
<br />Pavement on LaSalle avenue from bunnyside ..venue to Greenlawn Avenue under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I65I.
<br />Pavement on HRrriett Street from Jefferson Blvd., to Ti;"cKinley Street under
<br />Improvement Resolution Fo.I650.
<br />In the above matters, the Board hereby orders that on the I8th.. , day of
<br />=August, I926, this Board at it's office in the City hall at 7-I5, will hear and
<br />receive all persons interested in said roll or whose property i s affected by same, and.
<br />will determine ivhether the benefits to property so assessed on said roll, are equal
<br />to the cost of the improvements. Board further orders that notices of said hearing
<br />• be published on the 13th., day of August and on the 14th., day of 1_ugust, 1926,
<br />according to law.
<br />City Fhgineer, 7r. u. G . .ray-; filed the f ollo ing report on the remonstranc4
<br />against the Carroll Street Improve-eent under Resolution No.I698:
<br />I2 resident property ovmers on this street; 7 of whom have signed the
<br />remonstrance. This number constitutes a majority and the Board therefore recinds all
<br />former action on said resolution and declares same null. and void and the proceedings
<br />closed.
<br />In the matter of the Almond Court grade, curb and walk Improvement, the
<br />board hereby modifies the resolution, omitting the walk and leaving on the grade
<br />and curb improvement to be made under contract.
<br />Board signed ter_contract and approved the construction Bond of A. Spadoni
<br />& Co., for th construction of a sewer on LaSalle -venue under improvement resolution
<br />1tio.1696. Construction Bond executed by the standard i-ecident Insurance UO. , for
<br />I001, of the amount of the contract., 1.969.80.
<br />City Engineer filed Partial estimate No.4 for the grade, curb and walk
<br />Improvement on Lincoln P rk in accordance with the terms of the contract between the
<br />City and =1ex Bukowski, contractor. Board signed and arrpved same'in the amount of
