Notices of said hearing to be published <br />on the 2nd., day of July and on the $th., day of July, I926, in the News Times <br />and Tribune. <br />Petition from ?°r. D . `I' eeple, a sting for Yatthew Muzmich, <br />f6i� building of sidewalk vaults to the curb line at the corner of Chapin and <br />Indiana AITenue filed. After due consideration, the Board decides to grant this <br />permission for the building if area ways in the side walk space to a point only <br />six .feet back from the existing curb line, which will reserve -a space for a <br />future under ground utility construction. John Olejniejak <br />absent. <br />?`mutes of meetings held June I5th., and June I6th., I926, <br />read and approved. <br />Board approved the Bond of the Indiana Bell Telephone Co., <br />for I,000.00, signed by the American Surety Co., of New York. <br />This being the date set the Board made the following <br />awards of contract: <br />No petitions having been filed for the change of type of <br />pavement other, than that specified in the preliminary award, the Board hereby <br />awards the contrast for the pavement of 117nrriett Street from Jefferson Blvd., <br />to �:Tishawarxa Avenue under Improvement Resolution Yo.I654, to The Williston <br />Construction Co., at their low bid of 48,9I0.25 for Sheet asphalt. <br />Petitions rPving been filed for a change of type of pavement <br />other than that specified in t'he nrelimirary order for t'-e pavement of <br />Campeau Street under Improvement Peso lla.t ion �,To.I655, the 'n.gineer made <br />the following report; <br />There are 33 bonified resident free holder signatures on this <br />street, 18 of whom have signed for sheet asphalt, leaving I5 signatures for <br />concrete pavement. <br />T?nere being a majority of 3 signatures in favor of sheet <br />asphalt, n'r. ':'ray reco~rmends that the final order on this resolution, be <br />for the same type of pavement as specified in the preliminary order and <br />th-e.
