<br />Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. Y. John Olejniczak
<br />Hearing had on the following Improvement Resolutions:
<br />Pavement on Irvington Avenue from the Alley East of 'Erskine Blvd.,
<br />to Yiami Street under Improvement Resolution No.I663.
<br />Pavement on Sunnyside Avenue from Sunnymede Avenue to Mayne
<br />Street South under Improvement Resolution No.I676.
<br />Grade, Curb and ''a_Ik on Huey Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller
<br />Street under Improvement Resolution No.I670.
<br />In all of the above matters, the Board finds that the benefits
<br />to property liable to be assessed for said improvements, are equal to the estimated
<br />costs of same as reported by the City rgineer, and the Board therefore, declares
<br />said resolutions in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />Board , hereby, decides that on Jnne 29th., said Board will
<br />receive, open and consider sealed proposals -for the above improvements. Notice of
<br />said proposals to be published, according to law, on the IBth., day of June and on.
<br />the 25th., day of June 1926, in the News Times and Tribune.
<br />Hearing bad on the following I:ocal Sewer Improvement Resolutions:
<br />Local sewer on Oakside Street between P:Tiami Street and the first
<br />alley 11test of Dale Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No.I67I.
<br />Local Sewer on Rush Street from the manhole in Pernsylvania
<br />Avenue to a point 250 feet South under Improvement Resolution No. I672.
<br />In both of the above matters, the Board decides to sustain all
<br />farmer action on said sewers and declare the resolutions in all things ratified,
<br />comfirmed and approved.
<br />Board, further decides that on June 29th.,.said Board will
<br />receive, open and consider sealed proposals for the above local sewers. Notice
<br />of said proposals to be published, according to law, on the IBtb . , day of June and S '
<br />on the 25th., day of June, I926, in the News Times and Tribune.
<br />Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No.I677 for the pavement
<br />of the first alley South of Elder Street from the 2nd., alley lest of Carroll Street
<br />to the 2nd., alleyEast of Yichigan Street.
<br />In the above matter S. Lahey, representing Sophia Eckler,
<br />remonstrated against said improvement and filed a written remonstrance. The Board
<br />however., over ruled the remonstrance and declares said resolution in all things
<br />ratified and confirmed and approved. "'ritten .remonstrance referred to City Engineer
<br />for final check.
<br />Hearing also had on Vacation Resolution No.I674 for the vacation
<br />of the first alley North of Broadway from the West line of the second alikey 71"est of
<br />tiami Street to the East Line of the second alley East of High Street.
<br />In the above matter, Mr. Aaron Huguenard, representing the
<br />Northern Indiana Gas Co., and The Reliable Dairy Co., the only two property owners
<br />concerned in the above vacation, petitioned the Board to approve said resolution.
<br />':''hereupon the Board decides to sustain all former action and declare said resolution
<br />in al things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed.
<br />Hearing had on Assessment Roll for the Grade, Curb and '.Falk
<br />improvement on Colfax Avenue from Eddy Street to Sunnyside Avenue under Improvement
<br />Resolution.No.I56I.
<br />In the above matter, no remonstrators r-p peared and no remonstrance
<br />was filed and the Board therefore, declares said roll, filed April I3th., I926, in all
<br />thing ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed.

<br />In the above matter, the Board decides to sustain all former action

<br />Avenue from Sunnymede .Avenue to South Street under Improvement Resolution No.I653.
