Wednesday, April 21, 1926 i 0 • Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.11'. All members present. Hearing had on following Improvement Resolutions: Pavement an Walnut Street from Indiana Avenue to Prairie .Avenue, under Improvement Resolution-r`1616. Pavement on Magnolia Street from Indiana Avenue to Friairie Avenue under Improvement Resolution ff1617. Pavement on 11eade Street from southerly rail of New York Central R.R. to Sample Street, under Improvement Resolution -1633. Grade, curb and walk on Twenty-second Street from south line of Lots 65 & 66 in Jefferson Heights Addition to south line of_1KcKinley_Avenue. f;1630 1 ., In the above matters no remonstrators appeared and no written re- monstrances were filed, and the Board finds that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement aree equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by City Engineer and said resolutions are hereby ratified, confirmed and, approved. Date for receiving, considering and opening sealed proposals fixed as hlay 5, 1926 and notice thereof ordered published according to law. Hearing also had on Improvement Resolution J1618 for pavement on Broadway from Nigh Street to Iiiami Street. 'An the above .matter a remonstrance was filed, bearing the names of eleven property owners. However, the Board.finds that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvment are equal to the estimated cost of same and therefore declares said resolution in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Remonstrance referred to City Emgineer for his report on the resident property owners, Hearing also had on Improvement Resolution §1634 for grade, curb and walk in Homeland Addition. In the above matter, 'elm. 1,114Henery appeared and re- monstrated against the g,_raae improvement and the Board continued hearing until April 27, 1926. Board approved the Flat and signed the dedication for Coquillard Moods First Addition. FLAT OF COgUILLARD WOODS FIRST ADDITION TO TIM CITY OF SOUTH BEND The annexed plat of Coquillard -foods to the city of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, is a sub -division of the following described property, towit:- Beginning at the Southeast corner of Section 6 Township 37 North, Range 3 East, thence Ea-st.along the south line of sad*8ection a distance of five hundred eighty-nine and eighty-five hundredths (589.851) feet, thence North 16 degrees East a distance of four hundred (4001) feet, thence north 36 Degrees and 29 minutes aest a distance of two hundred twenty-five (2251) feet, thence north 53 de rees and forty-four minutes west a distance of four hundred seventy-three (4731feetri thence north 89 degrees and 34 minutes.west a distance of one hun- dred ninety-one and one-half (191.51) feet to the west line of said Section 5, thence north along the west line of said aection 5 a distance of three hundred eighty-six and seventy-six hundredths (386.761) feet, thenee.west parallel with the south line of Section 6-37-3 Last a distance of thirteen hundred fifteen (1315t feet, thence north 33 degrees and 58.minutes ';Test a distance of one hundred sixty- five and one-half (165.51) feet, thence south 64 degrees and 14 minutes V.Test a dis- tance of three hundred fifty-five and eight tenths (755.81) feet thence south 50 degrees and one minute :Jest a distance of two hundred four (20411 feet, thence nort 39 degrees and 59 minutes V-lest a distance of two hundred thirty 12301) feet, thence south 58 degrees and 35 minutes 'aest a distance of seven hundred thirty-five (7351) feet to the north and center line of Section 6 Toonship 37 North, Range 3 East (center line of Harriet Street) thence south along the north and south center line of said Section 6 a distance of eight hundred sixty0five (8651) feet to the center line of McKinley Avenue(south line of said Section 6) thence east along the south line of Section 6 a distance of twenty-six hundred forty-eight (26481) feet to the southeast corner of said Section, place of beginning. The plat contains 275 lots numbered from i to 275 inclusive. I'he sixe of the lots and width of the Streets are as shown on the platrg marked in feet and fractions thereof.
