69 <br />Tueuday, bla.rch 2, 1926 <br />i <br />Board met in regular session..-..A11 members present. <br />Minutes of meeting held February 23, 1926 read and approved. <br />Upon the recommendations of Mr. H. G. Wray, City Engineer, and <br />j Mr. Wm. F. Qualls, Superintendent of Poles and Wires, the following petitions <br />were approved and ordered. <br />Petition from Indiana Bell Telephine Co. for placing of poles and <br />wires in Woodlawn Addition. <br />Petition from Indiana Bell Telephone Co. for placing poles in the <br />eastern pnmtion of Sun.nymede Addition. Said poles to be used jointly by Indiana <br />Bell Telephone Co. and the Indiana & Michigan Electric Co. <br />Petition from Twyckenham Land & Investment Co. for lights in Ridge - <br />dale Addition. Petitioner to pay for equipment and installation, City to pay for <br />cost.of operation and zpaintenance. <br />City Engineer filed tabulation of bids for grade, curb and walk in. <br />• Belleville, first unit , submitted February 23, 1926. Alex Bukowski, being the <br />lowest bidder, was awarded the contract at the price of $16,273986. <br />Dismissal of Leo Witucki from Engineering Department approved by <br />the Board. <br />i <br />Following bonds were approved: <br />Bob Thorpe Twin City Plg. & Htg. Turnock, Jr. <br />Hearing had on Vacation Resolution #105. <br />In the above matter Pis. Seebirt, representing Rueben Miller, and <br />Aaron Huguenard, representing Wm. Smith,,_appeared; 11r. Seebirt arguing against <br />the approval of the Assessment Roll and ter. xuguenard in fav6r of same. Mr. Seebirt <br />claims his client purchased said alley and Mr. Huguenard contends that records <br />show it belonging to the City and street improvements had not been assessed <br />against the same, but had been paid by the City. <br />After hearing same Board ordered a continued hearing until March <br />9, 1926. <br />Board rescinded action on following Resolutions: <br />j IL[PROVEIIZENT RESOLUTION 1600- Pavement on Angella Ave. from <br />Marquete Ave. to Lafayette Ave. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION ; 1601- Pavement on Angella Ave. from <br />Lafayette St. to Southern Michigan R. R, <br />IMPROVLMENT RESOLUTION J 1602- Pavement on Lafayette St. from <br />north line of Angella Ave. east of Lafayette St. to south line of Angell Ave. <br />west,of Lafayette St. <br />IMPROVEItIENT RESOLUTION J 1603- Pavement on Angella Ave. from <br />Leeper Ave. to Southern Michigan R.
