In Tuesday, February 2, 1926 Board met in regular session. All members present._ Minutes of last meeting, held January 26, 1926, And-J2n iry 2 0_1.1926. reads- and approved. The following petitions were referred to the City Engineer for investigation. Pavement on West Pokagon St from Leeper Ave. to Tecumseh Ave. Pavement on Corby St. from Eddy St.east to dity limits. Pavement on East Victoria St. from T:_ichigan St. To Fellow St. Complaint fiiee by H.T.S. dome on pavement in alley between Riverside Drive and Woodward Ave.from Leland Ave. to Golden Ave., under resolu- tion f1550. Same referred to the City Engineer for investigation. Following reports from the City Engineer approved by the Board. Request by Board of Safety for placing fire escape ladders l on police garage building ------------------ Same ordered. Petition of Indiana Bell Telephone Go. to place poles, an- _: chors and underground conduits in places indicated on drawings. I Coates and Mr. J. G. Schaub of the ':Williston Construction 80. appeared before the Board tith the request for an extension on three con- tracts. Date of completion July 15, 1926. Pavement on 1i7illiams St . from Colfax Ave. to Lincoln Way West, Pavement on Diagonal St. connecting the southerly end of Portage Ave. with the northerly end of rood St. from Tarion St. to the south curb line of Navarre St. Pavement and grading of Parkways on dilliams St. from Wash- ington Ave. to Colfax Ave. These -extensions approved by the Board. Upon recommendation of _L,r. Wray the following petitions were denied. Seger on Iowa St. from Division St. To Washington Ave. Sewer on East Randolph St. from Ernsperger St. to Thompson St Board instructed the Clerk to advise one or more property owners regarding the above petitions, giving reasons as stated in Engineer's report. Cler'r ordered to have custodian remove all articles from cloak room to store room, so that room can be used for original purpose. City Engineer filed assessment roll for Improvement Resol-a tion ;`1466 for grade, curb and walk on Angella Ave. from alley west of Iro- quois St. to St. Joseph River, I1arquette Ave. from. Parkovash P1. to Angella Ave. and Ostemo Ave. from east line Lot 81, 1.1orth Shore Terrace Addition, to Iia,rquette Ave. Board ordered that notices on such awards of damages and assessments of benefits be given according to law and that a hearing be given on ?;.arch 5 , 1926 at the office of the Board of Public ;'lorks in'. -the City Hall, lcr the purpose of hearing remonstrators and receiving remonstrances from all persons interested in said matter. 1926.
