All members present. <br />I.1inutes of the last meeting, held January 4, were read and <br />i <br />approved. <br />The Board made the following appointments:' <br />Charles J. Thompson Street Foreman of Asphalt Repairs <br />Charles Johnson Custodian of City Hall <br />y Arthur Anderson Assrt. Custodian of City Mall <br />Oliver D. Elise Sexton of City Cemetery <br />i William H. Fries Street Foreman of=Brick Repairs <br />On motion of the Board all of the above appointments are made <br />as of January 4, 1926, the time each entered upon.his respective duties. <br />i �.s2r C <br />. Herschel Wray, City Engineer, was <br />present and. pre,�ented bids '! <br />for the printing of stationery and postal cards. At the suggestion. of 11r. Wray, i <br />II the bids for printing and postal cards by the Hibberd Printing Co., and envelopes j <br />l and letterheads by R. E. Johnson :printing Co., were approved by the Board. <br />it Bill from the W. R. Hin_�:le Co. for parts and labor for the <br />I Engineering Dept., all ordered by and tendered to the preceding administration <br />for $24.12, was approved and ordered paid. <br />Upon the request of Attorneys Omacht and Huguenard, Attorneys <br />for the respective parties, Vacation Resolution ='105, was continued until jl <br />February 2. <br />Motion made that the regular meetings of the Board be held as <br />I� follows:- <br />. I;. <br />Public Hearings on Improvements, 17ednesaay evenings at 7:30 P.M., _ <br />same carried. <br />Clerk was instructed to find out the n_eds of the Custodian for <br />I the year's supplies and have bids received so that order for oluantities can be <br />placed immediately after the next meeting. <br />R <br />�. 1.r. R. R. Smith, representing the Chicago, South Bend and -forth <br />ern Indiana Rail�iay Co., appeared before the Board with a petition from the <br />property o,,%rners on Ewing Ave. east of Yliami St., for an extentior_ of the Bus <br />Service as far east as Caroline St. Lr. Smith pointed out the it=!ediate need of <br />this Bus Service and the Board approved of same and instructed L-:r. Smith to have <br />the service started at once. T-1--enty imir_ute service from 6:05 to 3:05 A. M. q.nd <br />j from 5:00 to 6:00 P. 11. ,with hour service for the remaining period until ll: po P.24. <br />1.1r. :'William F. O,ualls, Superintendent of the City Electrical <br />Dept., was present and submitted a petition for lights on Roger �t. On the re- <br />quest of �1-r. Qualls, the Board approved of t__e change of the electric light <br />from in front of the -K.ley School to the intersection of Roger and Olive Street <br />and ordered s. Qualls to move Damp f 765 to the place designated. 11"ir.
