St :_ Joseph ;Cou:nty' <br />VACATI-ON OF ALLEY , <br />RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC IAIOTI�I S of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That it is <br />desirable to vacate the following: <br />FIRST ALLEY RUNNING LAST AND IZEST AND LYING SOUTH OF LINCOLNI"4AY W. , in the City of .South <br />Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, from the VVest line of Brookfield Street to the east <br />line of the, first alley running north and south and lying west of Brookfield Street. <br />Said alley is bounded on the south by Lot Numbered Seventeen (17) and on the north by. <br />Lots Numbered One, Two, and Three (1, 2,and 3) in Elias Rupe1's Addition to the City i <br />of South Bend. <br />The following property may be injuriously or oeneficially affected by such vacation <br />Lots Lumbered One, Two and Three and Seventeen (l, 2.9 3 and,17) in Elias Rupelts Additio . <br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the llth day of April and on the l8th <br />day of April, 1941 in the South Bend daily Tribune and the weekly Mirror, <br />This Board at its <br />office in the City_ Hall on <br />the 5th day of May, 1941 <br />at 10:00 A. DRI GGS <br />ATTEST: James P . <br />Conboy, Clerk. <br />NATHAN <br />LEVY <br />BOARD <br />OF PUBLIC 1J7O1;KS <br />Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the following resolution <br />was adopted, that, continuation certificates will not be accepted, hereafter, as the <br />Board desires renewal of the bond so the responsibility will be accumulative. <br />ELECTRIG DEPARTMENT: A petition for a street light in the middle of the block on 27th <br />St.," between Mishawaka Ave., and lWall St., was turned over to Mr, Qualls, Superintendent <br />for investigation and report. <br />CEMETERY DEPARTI,11ENT: IdTr. Lisle McNabb, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining to <br />his department ore `discussed. <br />`I,tr. McNabb presented his financial report for the month of ;larch, 1941. This <br />report was ordered filed. <br />'Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the following resolution <br />was adopted,.that, the City Hall be closed on Friday.. April 11, 1941, which is Good <br />Friday and a ,legal holiday in the State of Indiana, <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned <br />at 11:00 A.
