591 MEETING MARCH 3, 1941 and replace the m issing parts of the Jefferson St. bridge, at a price not to exceed $125.00. ENGINEERING DEPARTMENIT: The Slick Laundering Co. presented plans for the extending an 8 I beam from the rear of their building, a maximum of 12 feet across the alley. This beam is to act as a stiff leg to help support a proposed addition to the present smoke stack. Guy~wires._ will not;.be.::less than twenty feet above the ground.. These plans were°approved by the Board. VACATION OF ALLEY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF, SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: That it is desirable to vacate the following: ALLEY NORTH OF CORBY BLVD., from Frances St., to Eddy St., except the North and South intersecting' alley. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially effected by such vacation: Lots#107 to 118 inclusive, Sorints 2nd Division. NNotice of this resolution shall be published on the 7th day of %arch and on the 14th day of March, 1941, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and I.Veekly Mirror. • This Board at its office in the City Hall on the 24th day of March, 1941 at 10:00 A. Mr. -Miller presented the Board with a report on the parrying situation.on Johnson Street and Colfax Ave., IN. by OTBrien employees, and other matters referred to in a petition received by the Board from residents in this vicinity. This report was ordered filed. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned at 11:00 A. M. The covenants for the above dedication are filed with the blueprint of the plat.
